In what has become a known fact that not only is Flo Rida a household name, he is also a renowned international artist and being so, his presence is requested practically all over the world. This past weekend (November 22) the artist originally from Miami was in South Africa for their first ever MTV Africa Music Awards. As a special invited guest to the show, he also performed at the awards with many other African talents across the continent. Alongside Flo in the attendance from the U.S. included The Game and Kelly Rowland.
News reached far across the Atlantic to the U.S. that Flo literally shut down the show where the audience went crazy. Now don’t get it twisted, Flo also had time, aside from the show, to mingle with the people of South Africa. They were extremely excited to have an international superstar amongst them. I’m quite sure it was a memorable experience for both Flo and the people of South Africa.
