After a surprising return back to the game with his mixtape “Back For The Streets,” Young Buck is simply asking everyone, “Why are all you motherf*ckers surprised?” The answer for that should be quite evident. Last year’s audio of an emotional and obviously broke Young Buck leaked and surfaced to the entire world within a matter of moments. So excuse us, if we assumed that you weren’t going to bounce back so fast.

His new single, “Gotta Love It,” accurately depicts his relationship with 50Cent and where he stands.  The lyrics read:

“Hey, you know a n*gga rolled up on me yesterday, right, N*gga was like, ‘Eh Buck, you ever getting down with the Unit again? N*gga was like ‘What’s up with you and 50,’ I was like, ‘Look my n*gga, I’m in these streets’ just like you right now. You see, real n*ggas, we just do what we do and stay focused…I should be on stage, instead of puttin’ shells in this gauge…On the tour bus, me and Sha Money somewhere in Europe/But d*mn sh*t ain’t work out right/I gotta exercise, you know work that white/Everybody in the streets think they deserve that life/N*ggas payin’ for respect but me, I earned that stripe/You know how many times I almost got murked that night…Save a Grammy for me, a Source award and Vibe/’Cause I’m comin’/Have your metal dectors outside/I said I’m comin’, so why all you motherf*ckers surprised/The good guy gets killed, the bad guy never dies.”

So what is Buck saying? Could it be that he simply has better things to do than to worry about another? Can’t say that I blame him with all of the latest beef splurging between Rick Ross and 50. His  main focus, if he’s trying to get back on top, should probably be keeping his eyes on the prize and not involving himself in irrelevant gossip and petty fights. Recently he told Southern Smoke TV that he was planning a new mixtape.

“Streets wanna know what’s going on with Buck and where I been at and all that good sh*t,” Buck said in a video. “The streets been waiting long enough, so get ready man. Mixtape is on the way. DJ Scream. DJ Smallz. Young Buck. I’m back on my Buck sh*t. Straight up and if you a fan of Buck you already know what it is. If you not a fan of Buck, then just pay attention ’cause at this point, I feel like I’m more focused than I’ve ever been in my career…I’m good people, I’m doing what you should be doing and that’s surviving…Coming to a ‘hood near you. Back On My Buck Sh*t.”

Well regardless if Buck rejoins G-Unit or not, I wish him much success on his grind. I’m looking forward to a better mixtape than the last and hopefully I won’t be disappointed, again. Good luck Buck!

DMX Still In Trouble?

If it isn’t one thing it’s another! Last week’s rumors surfaced about rapper DMX joining the cast of “Celebrity Rehab,” then just a few days following, that same rumor was retracted by X’s publicist, Pam Pinnock. Now, it seems as if X can’t stay out of the media.

According to the Journal News, X was ordered to pay $240,000 for assaulting, Sergei Priporin, during a road rage incident at JFK International Airport back in 2004. Apparently while doing this, X was posing as an FBI agent.  Honestly X, you impersonated an FBI agent, and people believed you?

DMX’s Lawyer, Rich Corde, had this to say about the incident:

“His vehicle looked like it was a police vehicle and he believed Mr. Priporin should’ve gotten out of the way,” Corde explained. “When Mr. Priporin didn’t get out of his way, he decided he should pull him over. He readily admits to making believe he was an FBI agent and telling Mr. Priporin to get out of the car. He denies striking him or trying to pull him out of the car.”

X, what are you doing man? I wonder if illegal narcotics had anything to do with this because what sober person does things like this? One with road rage, I guess.

The case was settled after X plead guilty to all charges, including the emotional distress that he put on the victim’s mother and 12-year-old daughter. He was forced to pay a mere $1,000 and give up his Ford Expedition as a settlement.

Priporin obviously felt that the debt X caused wasn’t rightfully paid because he filed an incredible lawsuit suing X for a whopping $4 million dollars each. Yes, that’s right each. The money would be for his mother, his daughter, and himself.

Needless to say, Priporin won’t be getting that much but he can settle pretty nicely after lawyer fees.

X is still currently serving his 90-day sentence for drug possession, theft, and a misdemeanor charge. I know that “Celebrity Rehab” was a rumor, but I must reiterate that I truly hope that X decides to take it into consideration. We want to see you back in the game X!
