Just when you think the beef is over, someone always comes to prove you wrong! That someone was DJ Whoo Kid, an associate and/or affiliate with G-Unit, who has recently spoken out about 50 Cent’s new War Angel Mixtape and may have even suggested through hints the reason why 50 may be targeting Lil Wayne.

Whoo Kid sat down with radio personality Jenny Boom Boom and explained reasons for 50’s wrath against Weezy in his rhymes. According to Jenny Boom Boom TV:

“Somebody’s always gotta be buried,” Whoo Kid said referring to the mixtape’s ‘Prepare For Total Destruction’ cover warning. “I’m just gonna let everybody get ready. What you do is figure out who’s still relevant, who’s still rapping…It’s definitely not Eminem, but have your fans call up and think who we should bury. It’s kinda obvious. The fans know. Don’t spoil it for all the people out there, I mean, but you know Lil Wayne always cops a plea. He has his daddy, always calls up and talks for him states that Lil Wayne doesn’t have time for beef he’s more worried about money and pills and rock music. He’s not really worried about beef and stuff like that. And the chick that handles his weave, you know, he’s worried about his hair right now. Shout-out to the police officer, Rick Ross.”

Even though Wayne has previously decided to ignore 50’s diss records and focus on the money, I wonder how long he can hold true to that decision. It’s like the little nerd who keeps getting bullied at school, eventually he’s going to stand up to the bully and refuse to have his milk money taken. But then again, Wayne has enough milk money to last forever. So much for that thought!

It’s funny that Whoo Kid is stirring up beef when he himself has recently denied the rumors about the beef he had with Nas. He told True Stories TV:

“I respect Nas and all the sh*t he’s done,” Kid explained. “But personally, what he did to me was p*ssy. It was a p*ssy thing. But I was telling [Rick Ross’ baby’s mother] Tia that, but the [online video footage] kept that. He refused to come on my show because of 50 Cent and he told my boy that. And my boy, I had my boy, I could understand if your A&R is playing around with me like ‘I don’t want to come to your show blah blah blah’ but I had my boy personally go ask him and he personally said ‘Nah I can’t do it man, I just can’t do it.’ Well you know everybody on my show, I really wanted Nas on my show. I was with him even before the It Was Written and crap like, when he was beefing with Jay-Z I was there. I bought him the bean pie and all that stuff. If it wasn’t for that beef with Jay-Z, he would not be who he is today. That was the personal anger that I had to put out there. But other than that, I’m not dissing Nas.”

Perhaps instead of trying to play “DJ Run Tell Dat,” he’ll focus on his own issues. Hopefully this doesn’t spawn another puerile rap beef. I’m sure that just like me, everyone is getting tired of hearing it. Make music!

50 Cent Speaks On Jay-Z and Drake Collab

So is 50 Cent trying to start up trouble again, or simply speaking his mind as always? Recently 50 sat down with Hot 97 and gave his thoughts on the upcoming collaboration between Jay-Z and newcomer to the game Drake. 50 also gave his opinion of Drake and his recent come-up. 50 told Hot 97:

“[Lil Wayne] has that new kid, what’s his name, Drake,” Fif said. “The kid is coming up. I heard Jay-Z  got him on his single. Right? That was ill, like, that was fast! For him to put him on his single, like that’s ill. I don’t know if he’s rhyming or singing but the fact that he’s on it is hot. Like that was a fast come-up. Jay won’t even rap on his own artists and be in the video with ’em. Freeway, he did Freeway dirty. In the Freeway project, we were doing something together. It was all of us together, Jay had a record with Freway and I said ‘If you shoot that one, I’ll shoot the one that I did with him and we’ll make the video.’ Now tell me that ain’t the perfect scenario for Freeway.”

For those who didn’t know about the recent collaboration between Drake and Jay, DJ Skee has reportedly already heard the two’s collab and confirmed Drake is indeed on the single that will appear on Jay’s first single “Off That” from his album The Blueprint 3. The news recently broke on DJ Skee’s Twitter page which stated:

“First single off the new Jay-Z Blueprint 3 album coming Sunday,” DJ Skee wrote unmodified on Friday (June 5). “D.O.A. is the street track…Oh…the official OFFICIAL Jay radio single will be called ‘Off That’ and feature Drake…..Coming July…Last thing about Jay, Blueprint 3 release date IS 9/11. Same day as original Blueprint in 2001. RocNation. Atlantic hired for marketing. Sunday!”

According to Rap-Up:

“DJ Skee had the opportunity to preview “Off That,” Jay’s first single from The Blueprint 3. “I don’t want to really ruin the surprise,” the host of Sirius XM’s “Skeetox” radio show reluctantly tells Rap-Up.com. “I mean it’s Jay, he’s killing it.” While he didn’t disclose details, he did build anticipation for the record. “Jay sounds pretty incredible, man.” Skee confirmed that hip-hop’s hottest newcomer, Drake, lends his talent to the song.”

So why is 50 tripping? Perhaps he’s just a Freeway fan. I don’t see anything wrong with embracing the new talent. Jay knows that Drake is what’s hot now, thus doing a track with Drake is good for record sales. 50 should know all about that!
