As a songwriter Keri Hilson has been working her way to the top and it seems as though that day is finally coming. She has been writing hit records and hooks for some of today’s top artist such as Ludacris, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, Lloyd Banks, Timbaland, Nas, Rich Boy, Omarion, and Ciara to name a few. Keri’s debut album ‘In A Perfect World‘ finally dropped this year and gave both critics & listeners new hope and great music with songs such as “Knock You Down” ft Ne-Yo & Kanye West and “Turnin Me On” ft Lil Wayne.

Kid Cudi on the other hand started out actually rapping as well as working for the BAPE Flagship Store in Soho, NY during his down time when he wasn’t penning raps. But it just so happened that his luck would change from him selling clothes to Kanye West to actually becoming his artist and being on records with Mr.West. Managed by Plain Pat, who is Kanye West’s A&R, he ended up giving the record “Day & Nite” to  A-Trak who is Kanye West DJ and he put it out on his Indie label as a song deal and so the buzz began. So after failed attempts of getting Kanye’s attention, it was after hearing the hit being played in England that Mr.West decided he heard enough and signed Kid Cudi to his label G.O.O.D. Music. His new debut album should be dropping later this year and his new single “Make Her Say” ft. Kanye West & Common has been taking over the charts just as “Day & Nite” did so look out for this new artist repping for Cleveland, Ohio.
