This year’s 10th annual BET Awards went down and it was so far one of the best.

It was all about coming back and everyone is indeed back: Kanye, T.I., Eminem, and Chris Brown and our talented artists proved to be so.Kanye did his thing for his first televised appearance since the petty incident that occurred last year. He kicked things off with a truly passionate performance.

With a rocky past year he totally redeemed himself with no problem in true Kanye fashion..all too powerful, all too cocky, and all too fly.

Thanks to the host Queen Latifah the show progressed on with style and class.

The first award went to the very pregnant Alicia Keys.  Nicki Minaj did take the award in the Best Female Rap artist over Lil Kim and Trina. During her speech (after professing her admiration for Jada Pinkett) managed to throw out that she does pay homage to all the females and that they need to stick together.

One of the highlights of the show: Chris Brown cried while trying to complete Michael Jackson tribute. Brown did not get to attend last year’s Jackson tribute due to the Rihanna incident and I’m sure that hurt him very much.

He redeemed himself in this very classic tribute. No one can do Michael quite like Chris Brown and he rocked it even at the end when he couldn’t finish the tribute due to his emotions.

Diddy and the Dirty Money crew rocked the show with “Ricky Rozay”, T.I. and Nicki Minaj. Diddy in true form gave us a something to watch.

Usher, Monica, Alicia Keys, T.I. had equally great performances. B.O.B. performed Airplanes part II with Keyshia Cole filling in for Hayley Williams and Eminem drew everyone in with Not Afraid, and the performance said it all …that he is back.

Tyrese did it right in his tribute for the late great Teddy Pendergrass.

Drake took home the award for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Trey Songz for Best Male R&B Artist.

Alicia Keys and Patty Labelle paid a beautiful tribute to Prince with Keys in all her pregnant glory climbing on top of her piano.

DJ Khaled, Ludacris, Ross, Nicki Minaj, and Busta Rhymes took the BET Awards to a close with their hot hit “All I Do Is Win”.

The show went on for so long that it spilled into the aftershow. The party continued with all the stars in full force with hosts Diddy, Taraji Henson, and Big Tigger. Let’s Check Out Chris Brown’s emotional performance:
