Trying to get back to their “Road To 3 Peat” the LA Lakers recently faced off against the Jazz which ended in a 120-91 victory for the Lakers. That win left the Lakers with a 33-13 record placing them #2 in the Western Conference and at #3 overall in the NBA behind the Spurs and Celtics with the Miami Heats behind them by just two games with Miami playing tonight and a chance to become only one game behind. Continuing to look bad at times and the  horrible on some nights the Lakers are now 10-3 in their last 13 games. So with Kobe and Gasol leading the way it’s no reason the 2011 Finals won’t have the Lakers defending their title in the Finals this year but I’m sure the Mavericks and Spurs beg to differ. Tonight in the NBA the Miami Heats will face-off the New York Knicks on TNT at 8pm, which the Heats have been able to have there way with in the first two meetings so far this season. An in Game 2 on TNT at 10:30pm the Boston Celtics will play the Blazers at home in Portland.
