Trying to emerge back to the top of the Western Conference the LA Lakers pulled off something no other team has been able to do by ending the Spurs 22 Game Win Streak at Home. The Lakers who are now 45-19 put together an amazing team effort from the 1st Quarter to the 4th Quarter ending in a 93-89 dominant victory(the Spurs are now still 2-1 against the Lakers this season). Kobe Bryant scored a game high 26 points even though he sat on the bench for a lot of the 3rd and 4th Quarter. Paul Gasol chipped in with a solid 21 points as well as Lamar Odom with 15 points and Brown with 12 points off the bench. The Spurs Neal finished with 15 points and Parker added 14 points.

The the big game on Sunday was the Bulls vs Heats which ended in what
seems a the most emotional lost of the season for the Miami Heats. It
was a very great game to watch as a fan and felt like a playoff game but
in the end the Heats just seem to close the game in the 4th Quarter
once again as they are now 1-9 against teams above .500. The Heats coach
went on the mention in his press conference after the game that they
were many tears being shed in our locker room. Personally, I think
that’s not something you want to tell the media but maybe this 87-86
loss against the Bulls will spark a fire under the Heats as they look to
start the new week fresh taking on the Blazers and Lakers within the
next two games. The Heats are now on a 4 Game losing streak with a
record of 43-20.
