FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(NEW YORK, NY) – Rap superstar Snoop Dogg is bringing his special dose of “izzle” to South Florida fans as he appears live in concert on Friday, March 11 at Club Cinema in Pompano Beach, Florida. Known for his laid-back flow and lyrics that are anything but, Snoop Dogg has pioneered the rap movement for decades, transforming from a mere performer to now a multifaceted entrepreneur, in and out of music.

Born Calvin Broadus in Long Beach, California, his thumbprint on the West Coast G-funk (gangsta funk) movement shot him to stardom since the early ’90s, and he has remained at the top of the game up to now, a rare feat for any entertainer. One of the handful of artists responsible for spinning rap into pop, his early hits “Gin & Juice” and feature on Dr. Dre’s “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang” have turned rap songs into international anthems that remain at the top of play lists even today.

Snoop will be performing his classics as well as new tunes from his upcoming album, Doggumentary, scheduled for release just weeks after the show on March 29, and always looks forward to bringing his sounds up close and personal to his fans. “They know me in every hood in the world and they love me because I always show love to them,” he has said. “They’re the reason why I still get behind the mic and do these tours. I want to see their faces and let them know that Snoop is still … with them.”
