After a major disaster, musicians and celebrities will always find time within their hearts to assist or aid in relief anyway they can, banding together to do whatever possible. For artists, their music has always been a great way to collect money, as people will download for a good cause any time they have a chance, for celebrities just speaking and urging people can help in a lot of ways. Amongst the artists signing on to assist the tsunami and earthquake were Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Black Eyed Peas, and many others.

Black Eyed Peas shot a video in Japan over a span of three days, just a week before the 8.9 magnitude earthquake hit the northern coast of Japan. The group is hoping that their music video for ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’ will raise awareness and funds for the victims that were affected.

According to Showbiz.com, it has been reported that after the final completion of the video upon release, there will be a message displaying:

“This video was filmed in Japan one week before the earthquake. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the people of Japan. We love you.” The scene closes with a call to arms and a request to donate to the Red Cross.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Black Eyed Peas members, Fergie and Taboo, gave their about the earthquake and their experience while taping in Japan:

“It was the easiest video I ever shot because it was us living our lives. I love that it’s showing a true perspective of how it can sometimes be lonely on the road away from our loved ones. It also demonstrates the love and connection we have with Japan. Our heart goes out to all of the Japanese people who have been affected by this natural disaster.” Fergie told ET.

Taboo even chimed in and added his own humble comments:

“It was an amazing moment in time because Japan has always been my favorite place on the planet….. It was great to do our video there. God bless the Japanese. Our love goes out to them.”

At press time, the music video to ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’ will premiere on Thursday.
