Billy Blue Seriously Intends to ‘Ball Fa Eva’

Miami, FL – Mosley/KonLive/Interscope recording artist Billy Blue has been working heavily in the studio recording hit after hit, literally prepping tracks for his upcoming highly-anticipated debut album ‘Story of My Life.’ The latest single or should I say craze to hit the streets is an anthem he calls ‘Ball Fa Eva.’

‘Ball Fa Eva’ was recently released with the North Miami Emcee’s latest street album ‘Blumanatti’ as a last minute addition. The production laced behind the track is from the heavyweight duo The Runners, who have coined hits for DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Jim Jones, Lil Wayne, and Usher amongst others. They are virtually known for producing the multi-platinum hits ‘Go Hard’ and ‘Hustlin’ that literally put Rick Ross on the map. ‘Ball Fa Eva’ is their latest joint hit that will soon reach those levels. Aside from the pivotal production, Billy Blue’s lyrical delivery is like a semi-automatic spitting some serious lyrics that mesh with the idea and the concept of the song immaculately. There is no denying that ‘Ball Fa Eva’ is that smash single that has already caught everyone’s attention from Miami to across the industry. Fans and critics alike agree that the track is a certified masterpiece and DJs are playing it excessively across nationwide city limits.

As of now, the official announcement has already been made that the hit track ‘Ball Fa Eva’ will grace the upcoming debut album ‘Story of My Life’ alongside many other fan favorites. ‘Story of My Life’ has been set for release sometime in late 2011 or early 2012 by both Poe Boy and Interscope. Poe Boy/Hiram Group and Billy Blue will continue to release material for his dedicated fans all needing up to the anticipated release of the debut. During his scheduled time in the studio, Billy Blue is available for live performances on certain dates. The North Miami Emcee has recently stated that even before release period etches close, he plans on releasing at least two more mixtapes for the streets and his fans across the globe.

At press time, the recent mixtape, Blumanatti, still continues to run its course pushing its momentum as the media downloads collect its tallies. Poe Boy was also recently in South Beach this past St. Patrick’s Day passing out the ‘Blumanatti’ CDs to many out of towners and people who ready bump Billy Blue on a regular. The reaction was quite positive as street promo teams said that fans gave some good responses of the North Miami Emcee.

‘Blumanatti’ is officially the hottest mixtape out circulating the southern region of the U.S. and even farther. From the many people that chimed in on his twitter from across the nation, the numbers continue to rise. His manager just recently told me that Billy Blue now has fans as far as Canada. ‘Ball Fa Eva’ is a certified street anthem.

B.o.B. Discusses Details into New Album at SXSW Festival

Austin, TX – It seems as though everyone attended the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas over the weekend, apparently it was the highlight in media between Friday and early Monday. Grand Hustle recording artist B.o.B. was scheduled to be a performer at the SXSW concert in Austin. At the time, when ‘The Adventures of Bobby Ray’ came to light, it made it rounds on the charts during its initial release and spawned a couple of smash singles catapulting him into a level of Hip-Hop many artists dream of getting to.

While in Austin for the SXSW festival this past weekend, MTV News caught up with B.o.B. and discussed his upcoming sophomore album, they inquired if he believes it will trump the success of his debut. These were his comments:

“I would have to parallel my album coming out to losing your virginity. The first time you have sex is way more exciting than the second time. Not that the second time isn’t exciting, it’s just … the initial excitement of finally having that first album. I think that people will definitely be surprised at the music they hear on the second album, I don’t think they would expect that coming from me.”

B.o.B. is still in the process of putting the pieces together for his upcoming album and has just come to the completion of the first quarter. Either way, he plans on releasing some new material for the fans very soon.

“There’s probably going to be some surprises. There’s no telling what the next three quarters will be like, we should be seeing something very soon. Even if not an album, you’ll definitely see new music this year.”

His style of music changed the way that Hip-Hop was looked upon over the past decade; he collected an audience through his eclectic idea of fusing different genres together. B.o.B. states that his new album will bring a slightly different appeal, but try not to stray away from the concept that made him first recognized by his fans. At press time, no release date or time frame has been set for the forthcoming album as it is still in the early stages of recording.

I must admit, B.o.B. has some interesting ideas when it comes to his concept of music. His fusion of Hip-Hop, Pop, and R&B has provided fans with a different sound and a creative state of mind. I’m actually looking forward to the release of his sophomore album, just to see what he has up his sleeves. Let’s see if it actually tops ‘The Adventures of Bobby Ray.’

Chris Brown Addresses Actions behind Leak of Private Photos

New York, NY – After weeks of avoiding inquiries, media attention, and hanging up on radio interviews all behind the private photos that were leaked by an anonymous person, Chris Brown finally stepped to plate and openly spoke about the details behind the leaked photos.

In the beginning, when the photos first appeared on the net, there was speculation that the leaked photos were part of a publicity stunt surrounded around the release of his new album; F.A.M.E. Chris Brown recently had a chance to sit down with MTV News and lay all that to rest. According to the video, it seems as though the whole situation is quite humorous to him.

These were his comments:

“Let me be honest with you. I didn’t want to put no pictures out; that’s not my intention. A lot of people were saying, ‘Yo, he leaked the pictures, he was trying to get promotion.’ For me, I was always a singer, so unless I’m planning on trying to do porn, I don’t think I’d want to just leak my wang out to the world before my album comes out.”

Brown stated that he wanted no part of what other celebrities and artists do to gain additional fame through their career, in fact he refers to it as a gimmick. He continued to add farther comments:

“It was disappointing to me that it was out, because I was like, ‘Man, now it’s gonna [look like] a gimmick behind it,’ and I don’t want a gimmick behind anything that I’m doing.”

MTV News inquired on if he was going to be more cautious with his iPhone next time a situation like this would begin to ensue. He found the experience whether beneficial on his part:

“Nah, I’m just living life, I’m just gonna have fun. At this point, there’s no more insecurities with me. Everything’s out on the table. You’ve seen everything! Also, as an artist I’m free with my music. I get to talk about the subjects I want to talk about and also reach people. So I’m just gonna live my life, man. There’s nothing to be upset about, nothing to be angry … where I’m at creatively and mentally is great so I’m not gonna let anybody or any naysayer or hater mess that up, ’cause there’s no point, I’m … winning!”

At press time, his forthcoming album F.A.M.E. has been set to be officially releases this Tuesday (March 22). Keep posted to 24hourhiphop.com for an official review on Brown’s new album.

I guess this was the appropriate time for Chris to come forth and explain his actions behind those photos. With his album on the brink of release, it was smart of him to finally shed some light on whether or not it was a publicity stunt on his part.  But then again, it goes without saying that ‘actions speak louder than words’ and his actions on the video seemed too playful and humorous to him. I know he better be listening to his publicist on situations like this. Also, I’m not so sure about all that blond hair, he’s literally taking a page out of Sisqo’s book on that one.
