The funeral for revered singing Hip-Hop hook master Nate Dogg will take place this Saturday (March 26th) in his hometown of Long Beach, California.

A viewing for Nate Dogg will be held on Friday (March 25th) from 10 to 4pm at New Hope Baptist Church in Long Beach.

The public is invited to the viewing, with tight security measures in place, which includes a ban on all cameras.

Nate Dogg’s sister Pamela Hale-Burns revealed that singer will be laid to rest at the Long Beach Cruise Terminal.

According to Burns, who is a reporter for the Long Beach Press-Telegram, the service will be open to the public, although there will be strict security at the door and no cameras will be allowed.

Nate Dogg died at the age of 41 on March 15th due to complications from two strokes in 2007 and 2008.

According to Hale-Burns, Nate Dogg’s family has been received condolence from fans across the world.

“We appreciate all the words of encouragement and all the thoughts and prayers they have been sending our way,” Hale-Burns said. “Remember my brother for what he loved – doing his music.”
