Multi-platinum album sales worldwide? Chart topping singles? Brand new fragrance in stores now? Well Rihanna has all of that but apparently NONE of these things guarantee a sold out show. Reports are saying that Rihanna is being advised to cancel the U.S. portion of her LOUD tour set to begin very soon, due to low concert sales. The New York Post reported that for her upcoming tour date in Boston (also featuring Cee-Lo Green), only sold 3,700 tickets have been sold but she needs to sell at least 15,000 to break even. As of now, the Boston concert is expecting more than a $500,00 in losses.  Peep some more details according to Theybf.com :

..despite slow tour sales, RiRi did not budge on her diva demands.
Sources say she has a huge list of demands and needs, which is
fine…when you are selling tickets and making money
.

Sources also say Rihanna has been advised by her day-to-day manager, Jay Brown, to cancel some domestic dates on her “Loud” tour.

“It has been a big disappointment,” our source said
to Page Six.  “The ticket sales in big US cities like Boston are so bad,
they will barely cover basics like the lighting and other arena costs.
Tour managers are begging local radio stations to do giveaways.”

So what’s the problem?  One insider said, “She should’ve been doing theaters and smaller venues. She’s not ready to headline an arena tour.”

I think I have to agree with the person who made the last comment. I’ve already purchased my tickets, because I LOVE her, but if we’re being honest here, Rhi isn’t on Staple Center status. She has miles to go before she can walk in the same Loubie’s as Madonna, Beyonce or anyone else. What do you guys think? Will you be at the LOUD tour?
