Artist: Ballgreezy
Mixtape: From the Bottom to the Top
Hosted by: DJ Jay Rock
Presented by: Down South Bangers

Ballgreezy is the prime example of an artist who is dedicated to his craft. His grind is what you would call impeccable. Even after his tenure with Iconz ended, he still kept himself current and in the circuit. No matter what trials and tribulations may come his way, Greezy was able to prevail over them through any obstacle. You could say that his lyrical skill, his delivery, his melodic hooks kept him abroad, any of those could have contributed to his continued rise to fame; honestly it is really the perception of his devotion to music. With a new label and more brand new material coming out the vault, Ballgreezy has officially become that next, next in line, next to blow, whatever you wish to call it, the fame is already evident.

With the countless joints that he released over the course of a short period of time, genuinely have all become hits naturally overnight. It is without a doubt that the fans react to his music in a positive manner and as a versatile artist that he is; he can cater to everyone, guys and ladies. His music speaks for itself. Now with a brand new mixtape on the horizon attentively entitled ‘From the Bottom to the Top,’ you can definitely sense that this is just a prelude on what’s to come. The production on this meshes with real well with Greezy’s lyrical style, trust this is something you’ll enjoy.

Hustle Hard (Freestyle)
Taking cue from his Miami brethren, We the Best recording artist Ace Hood, Ballgreezy unleashes his own homage to the beat that Ace introduced to the streets, Greezy style. With his added flare, the track becomes an entity of its own following down the same path as Ace, just with a different hook.

Turn Up featuring Ace Hood
Speaking of Ace, of all the tracks that these two have put together over the course of the past two years, this one strikes a different flare. If you heard ‘Bout Me’ before, it is already evident that when you put these two together be prepared for an all on onslaught with back to back lyrical blows. With the war drums added to the beat, the musical massacre is on point.

I’m Bout My Money featuring Iceberg
Greezy spits a real interesting verse on the hook, making it sound more like a musical confession. Greezy and Berg go back and forth on this track showcasing their lyrical skill, proving that the two can hold toe to toe on the same track. The production behind the track really captured both their initial sounds.

Man in My City
‘Ballgreezy is the man in his city, ask about him.’ Coming with a credited background, this track just exhibits that every artist has a history. This is genuine Greezy signature style, as he goes in letting the haters know not to underestimate him. If you’re from Miami, then you know Ballgreezy, the whole city support him.

Get Like Me
You already know, this track is a banger. Since the first time this song debuted at the club, the song became a hit. ‘Get Like Me’ puts Greezy in a totally separate category from other artists as he clearly proved that he can do more than just rap.  It never fails, every time this track comes on, the entire club goes wild.

Diggin’ You
Being a fan of the band Journey during my younger years, it’s good to see production like this paying serious homage to great music. Greezy raps over a subtle sample version of the famous track ‘Don’t Stop Believing,’ all while talking about a certain girl that he is ‘diggin.’ His delivery on the track is definitely on point.

All in all, the mixtape provides much insight into what Ballgreezy has been working on behind the scenes, letting his fans know that he is still out here grinding. If you hadn’t already copped the mixtape, then you can download it at the bottom. Track by track the mixtape takes you on a journey through music all the while the bass is bumping in the back of your trunk. Ballgreezy gives it to you real and gutter, the only way he knows how.
