Sometimes people forget names. Sometimes people lock their keys in the car. Sometimes people even lie about where they grew up. Wait, really?!

Yung Booke hails from Atlanta’s Capitol Homes housing project. There’s another rapper who also claims Capitol Homes as his home. His name is Roscoe Dash. Dash makes hits, but does he also lie about where he grew up? Is Roscoe Dash claiming Atlanta, specifically Capitol Homes, to get credibility?

According to Yung Booke, the answer is yes.

And I know you ain’t from my hood cause [people] from my hood don’t do the mohawks with the makeup

Booke isn’t a no-name rapper desperate for attention, either. In fact, Booke has a growing buzz in Atlanta thanks to songs like “Peion” and “Raining Bullets”. If you’ve seen this surprise performance, then you know the kids love Flya, too.

So why call out Roscoe Dash?

It seems like Yung Booke just wants to set the record straight. After all, Booke is very vocal about his allegiance to Capitol Homes hence the title of his forthcoming mixtape.

Keep an eye out for Yung Booke’s Live From Capitol Homes. Flya’s tape features appearances by Future and Alley Boy along with production from Win on the Track. It’s safe to say that Roscoe Dash won’t be singing any hooks.
