Rick Ross Made It Onto the Django Unchained Soundtrack

By Carla St. Louis

Rick Ross’ music is no longer limited to the hood, thankyouverymuch.

Young Jeezy’s nemesis, is apparently popular with the Hollywood sect as well. The Boss’ track, “100 Coffins” just landed a spot on the soundtrack of Quentin Tarantino’s gore-heavy, slave-western film, Django Unchained.

Watch: Django Unchained Trailer

Jamie Foxx as Django

The feature blockbuster (c’mon, it’s a Tarantino flick), stars Jamie Foxx as a recently freed slave turnt bounty killer who gets the pleasure of hunting white folks during America’s slavery era. While, Kerry Washington plays his still enslaved wife and Samuel L. Jackson is the token house Negro. Somewhere, Leonardo DiCaprio plays a wealthy Southern gentleman.

But I digress.

Ross’ track is also featured in the official trailer for the film (fast-forward to the 00:32 mark).
