Rick Ross Takes His MMG Imprint To Atlantic Records’ And So Does Young Jeezy

Looks like these to Southern rappers cannot escape each other.

Rick Ross and Young Jeezy both got there big break in music with Def Jam records. They even made music together when Jay Z was running the show, but since then the two has had there difference’s.Most recently there was a highly publicized scuffle that took place backstage at the B.E.T Awards which Ross said he tried to choke Jeezy.

Jeezy is still a Def Jam artist and Senior VP of A&R at Atlantic Records, the rapper stated “This is a fresh start for the CTE brand as we re-launch it,”.He also said “This is why I chose to wipe the slate clean and create an outlet to support and nurture new artists to the best of my ability.”

Now what where wondering with both rappers and well known enemies on the same label once again how will this play in there rivalries with one another.Being on Def Jam never stopped the two from clashing and i don’t believe this new situation will either.

Ross’ in a radio interview with his hometown station 99 Jamz confirmed his move to Atlantic Records

“I got another announcement as well. I’m excited for this year we got coming up man. This is really huge. MMG we just merged with Atlantic Records. It’s the biggest move of the year. We gonna leave it right there,” Rick Ross said in an interview. “I’m signed as a solo artist to Def Jam. And Meek Mill, Wale, we all MMG at the end of the day.”
