Philadelphia, PA – Now we’ve been waiting for the release of Pusha T’s solo debut for quite some time now and it seemed like G.O.O.D. Music wasn’t going to release it anytime soon. Well, apparently that might not be the case as Pusha finally shed some light on the completion of the album as well as adding some choice comments about the CEO of Young Money’s recent hospitalization.

Co-founder and one half of The Clipse recently appeared on Philly’s Hot 107.9 with QDeezy and discussed album details on the forthcoming ‘My Name is My Name.’ According to Pusha, he states that the album will be released this summer.

“Right now, at the end of the day, we’re at the finish line. I think we just locked in the single. I’m just waitin’ for ‘Ye to finish his verse.” He stated that the song was entitled “I Am.” “The album is incredible.”

Pusha continued to add that production on the album will be helmed by heavyweights such as: The-Dream, Swizz Beatz, Don Cannon, Nottz, Rico Beats, Pharrell, and of course G.O.O.D Music alums Kanye West and No I.D. He also confirmed two features in Rick Ross and Future, with others being kept under wraps for now.

And of course, when asked about Lil Wayne and the recent seizures that he suffered this past March, Pusha seemed unaware of the events that occurred and even downplayed the whole situation.

“Aw man, what was that about? Did they do like a candle light vigil or anything?” He asked.

QDeezy then responded, “It wasn’t like that.”

As Pusha laughed, he concluded the topic by stating, “So it wasn’t important.”

Between the end of 2012 and the beginning of 2013, Pusha has already released two singles in preparation for the forthocming album with ‘Pain’ featuring Future released in October and ‘Millions’ featuring Rick Ross, which was released not too long ago. However, Pusha later confirmed that ‘Millions’ will not be featured on the album and that other Rick Ross collaborations will be. ‘I Am’ featuring Kanye West will be released as a single.
