For the past several months it has become apparent that the two heavyweights of Brick Squad Monopoly and once close friends, Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane, aren’t seeing eye to eye. The estranged duo has also made it public.

Within recent interviews with Waka Flocka, many topics came to light including his recent feud with Gucci Mane. Each time he is presented with that question, he usually keeps leveled headed and answers with the same response that there is no beef of any kind.

In a recent interview with TheMontreality.com during his recent Canadian tour, he spoke on the topic.

These were his comments:

“We went two paths in our life. It ain’t no beef, no animosity; it’s just that me and him see two different goals. I guess we both at the finish line; we’re just goin’ our own routes. Sometimes it’s none of your fuckin’ business what’s the reason. Just understand that two men went their own ways, but it’s no problem.”

Sometime in March, Waka Flocka came onto MTV’s RapFix Live and stated that he’d never work with his mentor again, after Gucci tweeted some disparaging statements claiming that he was dropping Waka from his 1017 Brick Squad label for being disloyal.

“I don’t know because I’m the loyalist person you could ever see. I took on a man’s beef, risked my life, hung out the window, risked my freedom. I never backed in a corner,” he said, stating his involvement in Gucci’s beef with Young Jeezy. “To my knowledge, it can’t be nothing but jealously or something because there is nothing I did disloyal.”

Waka continues to state that he will have no problem partying with Gucci, he’ll just never do business with him again.
