The 24hourhiphop family extends our deepest condolences to Andre Benjamin aka Andre 3000 of Outkast. Ms. Sharon Benjamin just 62 years of age was found dead yesterday inside her Atlanta home. To make matters worst Rap, R&B/ Pop Start Andre 3000 had to find out as he celebrated his 38th birthday. Ms. Benjamin was a healthy 62 years old with no existing conditions or ailments. There have been some reports that foul play was involved due to the fact that Ms. Benjamin was only in her early 60’s. Atlanta police are looking into every lead they have until they uncover the details of Ms. Benjamin’s death. Andre 3000’s Mom was an earthly angel helping her community in so many ways. She was the founder and guiding force behind, “The Starlight Camp” for underprivileged kids. She ran The Starlight Camp from the New Morning Light Missionary Baptist Church in Conley, GA where her husband is the pastor, Pastor Robert Hodo. Ms. Benjamin was a blessing to the city of Atlanta and will be missed by many. Sending our prayers and blessings to Andre 3000 and family at this time.
