New Jersey Somerset authorities announced,that on Monday night, Franklin Township (Somerset) police recieved a 911 call about a shooting at local hairsalon Nu Trendz where 28 year old aspiring rapper Eric Andrews Jr. was shot . Andrews was transported to Johnson University Hospital Trauma Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Andrews,also known as, “E-9” was part of rap duo with long time friend George Opoku known as 6FO. The two rappers performed alongside large artist including rap star Waka Flocka Flame for the song “M.O.N.E.Y”. The two were scheduled to preform at SOB’s in New York on Tuesday

According to Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffery D. Soriano, two brother’s were later identified in the shooting. Zaire Cromedy,21, and Antwan Cromedy,28, were arrested and charged with 1st degree murder on Tuesday. Bail was set at $500,000 each. Further investigation reports says, Andrews was shot following a verbal and physical dispute with an individual outside the Nu Trendz hair-salon at 5:53pm. According to police reports, Antwan Cromedy gave a handgun to his brother and told him to shoot Andrews.

Both brother’s are known to have a criminal past. Zaire Cromedy was sentence to 4 years probation on a weapons charge back in 2011 in Middlesex County. At the time of his current arrest Zaire was free on a $35,000 bail. Antwan Cromedy was placed on a 3 year probation in 2006 on charges of drug possession and eluding a police officer also in Middlesex county.
