Artist: Chris Brown
Album: F.A.M.E.
Label: Jive Records

Chris Brown hasn’t had it easy lately but it looks like he is trying to redeem himself. With Brown’s forthcoming F.A.M.E. album might be the album to cop for the R&B/Pop lovers. Even if you’re not, you might just buy it for your favorite rapper featured on Breezy’s album.  The new LP is set to release on March 22nd.  For those who don’t know, F.A.M.E. stands for: “Forgiving All My Enemies”. The new album features Tyga, Kevin McCall, Lil’ Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, Wiz Khalifa, Game, Justin Bieber, Big Sean and Timbaland. I got a hold of the Deluxe version on the album, which consists of 18 tracks, 13 for the regular edition. Overall, the LP isn’t too shabby. Chris Brown has come a long way since his first self titled album.

The album might just be the rebirth of Breezy’s career.”Entertainment Weekly released a review of his new album F.A.M.E. They had some nice things to say — even going so far as to compare Breezy to Jodeci.” NOT!

As some tracks have already been released, don’t think you know what to expect from the album. I was surprised at some of the heavily Pop tracks. Furthermore, melodic raps on tracks like newly released “Look At Me Now” and “Rock, Paper, Scissors” lead to intoxicating hooks, as do syrupy bedroom knockers “Wet the Bed” and “No Bulls**t” and could rival some serious “Baby Makin’” songbirds. While Justin Bieber duet “Next To You” will appeal only to your tweenie sister.

I give this latest release a B-, respectively. I’m just not a huge fan, but I like a few tracks, that I may keep on repeat, other tracks I can live without. So if you’re a true blue fan of Brown’s, you’ll still be his fan after this album.
