Exclusive songs? Check…New Tracks? Check…Hot beats? Check…The DJ talking over the best tracks?……Not quite, and that’s what the people want. Apparently, DJ Ames and Acafool have followed the do’s and don’t’s about making a hot mix tape because this is a damn near perfect mix tape. First off the intro is exactly what it suppose to be, a damn intro instead of a shit talking and shout out session. Acafool preps the audience for what’s to follow and he let’s the tracks speak for themselves afterwards.

Now before I get into details I must let you know, if you want to hear super lyrics and hip hop is dead and we are about to resurrect it back songs then this is not the mix tape for you. This is strictly for the clubbers, the riders, the smokers, and those who just want to some straight feel good, make you shake your ass music. This is music for Summer of 2009!!!!!

The first highlight is the Moka Blast track titled I rep tha Dirty which features Bun B and Slim Thug. Someone must have put a bug in Slim Thug’s ear that he was going to be sharing the spotlight with Bun B because this is the time another rapper has equally matched Bun B’s Super Trill swag since the death of former partner in rhyme Pimp C. And since we’re on the subject of perfect rhyme couples Nelly and Diddy has done it again. On the song a 1000 stacks Nelly spits over a sexy up-tempo track while Diddy does the chorus over a Biggie sample. But it doesn’t stop there because it seems that New York is representing in full force with the song Heart and Soul by Red Cafe and produced by the legendary Pete Rock and then it’s followed by Memphis Bleek and Uncle Murda spitting heavy lyrical gangsterism on “Say So”. Most rappers quote they are what the game’s been missing unfortunately for them Memphis Bleek is really what the game has been missing and from the sounds of flow on Say So I think he will be coming back with a vengeance to represent for the Brooklyn D Boys. Even the ladies get to rep they swag on “She’s Bad’ by Acafool. Don’t be surprised if this becomes the ladies new anthem of 2009 and be played in the clubs nation wide. (you heard it here first)

Again if you’re looking for a bunch of soul samples and complex lyricism then this is not the album for you. But if you want something to make you move your body and have some trunk rattling songs to play on the road then this is the perfect hood album. Hate it or love it this mix tape is strictly for the streets and the club and it’s definitely a hood banger.
