Dvice-I Love Myself

Letting the world know who comes first on this one Reggaeton and Hip Hop up n comer Dvice shows us on his newest album exactly why he (and plenty of others) love him.  Bouncing from style to style has always kept Dvice’s music fresh but on this one he really shows his how he has grown more in the hip hop and R&B style. Coming in at 13 tracks strong this is exactly what the cover says it is, a street album. Rocking over nothing but stellar original beats from some of the hottest producers in the reggaeton and hip hop genre, Dvice showcases not only his vocal ability but what truly separates him from the rest, his writing skills.

Look no further than “Number 1 Fan”, for evidence of this.  Insprired by his Facebook and Twitter jump off’s, Dvice croons over a synth heavy beat that is sure to get more than a few ladies moving (it sure has worked around my girl). The next standout on the album is “Lose Control” featuring Shifta. This track has been getting heavy radio play and once you hear it you will know why. A mix between Reggae, Hip Hop, and R&B, the song leaves you asking the question “Is there anything this kid can’t do?”

But don’t think it’s all for the ladies on this one. Dvice teams up with several hip hop heavyweights including none other than the Opa-Locka Goon himself Brisco on the charged up cut “Da Man”. Letting know the haters know they wont stop him Dvice holds his own on the track and proclaims to be “Da Man Out Here”. Other notable features include Billy Blue, Mista Mac, and Yaga Y Mackie. It’s in these tracks that we get to see how comfortable Dvice is with his music. Instead of trying to posture like a tough guy alongside these artists he sticks to his own script and shows how much he loves himself by being just that, himself.

After hearing this album I’m sure it will be a lot more people claiming they love Dvice. Mixing various musical styles while keeping his own original touch on it all, Dvice gives fans of just plain good music something they have been waiting for. An album that you can freak with your lady  to and ride out with the fellas…now that’s something special. In fact it’s something you can Love.
