Artist: Fabolous
Album: Loso’s Way
Label: Street Family/Desert Storm/Def Jam

Definitely one of the last artists that got signed in the late 90’s that has remained consistent has to be Fabolous. From street anthems to your girl’s favorite record Fab always gave you that mixture from day one. So with singles such as “Its My Time” ft Jeremih  produced by The Runners for the streets then followed up by “Throw it in the Bag” ft The Dream for the ladies, Fab’s right back in his comfort zone. To separate himself this time around Loso did a concept album around the movie “Carlito’s Way”. This album also comes with a movie that highlights Fabolous’ acting skills or lack of but judging by the movie trailer so far I’m sold. Plus it’s another good marketing tool to give each fan another reason to go out and buy the album if songs like “When the Money Goes” ft Jay-Z produced by Jermaine Dupri to “Feel Like I’m Back” are not enough, which I highly doubt.

Powered by Ryan Leslie, the single“EveryThing, EveryDay, EveryWhere” featuring Keri Hilson on the hook is the perfect mixture for a early summer smash  single. Then when you add  meaningful records like “Stay” and “Pachanga” which everyone can take something from  you definitely got a solid project on your hand even though I expect a bit more from  records like “Salute” ft Lil Wayne, “Makin’ Love” ft Ne-Yo and “Last Time” ft Trey Songz. Some other Key highlights are “Lullaby”, “Fabolous Life” and “I Miss My Love”.
