A sleepy Miami Beach car burglar was busted after he decided to take a nap inside one of the vehicles he'd broken into and was discovered passed out by the owner, according to a police report. Joe Jesus German, 19, is facing burglary charges after he was arrested Sunday for breaking into several cars at the Fontainebleau Resort, the report said.

The report said German entered the valet parking garage at the luxury resort at 4441 Collins Avenue and started making his way into unlocked cars. He entered numerous vehicles, the report said, stealing property from several of the cars, the report said. But all the burglarizing apparently took its toll on an exhausted German, who decided to take a breather in the back of a white Infinity, according to the report. Unfortunately for German, he's a sound sleeper.

"The defendant was later located inside of a vehicle he burglarized, by the vehicle owner who was driving home and found defendant passed out in his back seat," The report said. Police were called and German was arrested. Police said they didn't have to look far to find evidence. "Defendant was in possession of several keys belonging to vehicles that were burglarized," the report said. German was being held on $25,000 bond.
