When I read this article on SOTT.Net it blew my mind, Clifford Hall will be spending 6 months in jail for paying too much child support and seeing his son too often. The judge held him in contempt after she felt as though he broke the terms of the order, that were secretly modified without his knowledge.

Clifford Hall has a 11 year old by his ex wife, and he states "I'm his father it's my responsibility to take care of him". And he has been doing exactly that, according to ex wife and court documents.

According to SOTT.net

"Last November, his child support payments were paid in full. Sometime between then and now, the child support agreement between Hall and his wife was modified without his knowledge. Hall wound up overpaying by $3,000, a fact that Harris County District Court Judge Lisa Millard found contemptible. visited his son. Judge Millard ended up finding Hall in contempt of court. When she said I remand you to the Harris County Jail for 180 days my mouth just dropped," Hall told FOX 26 News in Houston. In addition to the six month jail sentence, Judge Millard is forcing Hall to pay his ex-wife's attorney fees.

Mr.Hall was shocked by the judges order and stated, "I can't be there for my son in jail. I can't pay child support in jail. This is not in the best interest of the child." And we agree, we cant believe this story or Judge Millard. So not only are you putting a hard working man in jail for six months for taking care of his kid, this little boy wont be able to see his father for six months.
