24: For the readers who have been living under a rock for the past few years introduce yourself to the readers and let them know where your from?

Chase N Cashe: I was Born and Raised in New Orleans(Westbank: Terrytown, Gretna, & Algiers).

24: Please give the readers brief run down of some of the records you have produced?

Chase N Cashe: I’ve produced for Lil Wayne & Young Money to Eminem, Flo-Rida, Chris Brown and many more.

24: Speaking of working with Lil Wayne you created a classic collaboration for him now known to the music world as “Drop The World ” which features Eminem, so tell me how did that record come about and did you think it would have grown to be so huge when you first made it?

Chase N Cashe: The track happened when I sent the beat to Wayne‘s engineer KY. I sent out about 4 beats and they all got used. I knew it’d be a big record just off namesake alone.

24: How did the Surf Club come together?

Chase N Cashe: We’re all friends/brothers before the whole music side of things took off. We’re all from different but similar backgrounds and we all have our own unique style that allows us to mesh together for one complete sound.

24: How would you describe you guys sound and style?

Chase N Cashe: Very forward but nostalgic to the music we grew up on in the 90’s and 2000’s.

24: Who are some of the artist that your currently working with and who would you like to work with that you have not got the chance to as yet?

Chase N Cashe: Currently working with any act you can think of that’s doing something on a major level. I’m looking forward to possibly working with Jay-Z & Beyonce one day.

24: Is their any producers right now in the game at the moment makes you say “Damn”, When you hear a record they did and inspires you to take your production to another level?

Chase N Cashe: Yes, my niggas Boi1da and 40 from ATF/OVO who are Drake’s producers. They’ve produced some of the best music in past few years. J.U.S.T.I.C.E League & Kane Beatz are nice too.

24: Years from now what do you want everyone to say the Surf Club brought to the music world?

Chase N Cashe: Our own signature sound and inspiration for those following us.

24: Do you have any plans on putting out an album because I know that your an artist as well?

Chase N Cashe: Yes, I’m currently working on one as well as balancing my other responsibilities as a producer.

24: What’s you relationship with Drake because he recently mention you on one of my favorite records that didn’t make the album “9am in Dallas Freestyle” (which Drake  recently told MTV he wished would have been the albums Intro but he made it the day of mastering)?

Chase N Cashe: That’s my bro. He’s done a lot for me as far as letting me witness what he goes through in his career. He always put’s me on to a lot of opportunities and knowledge as well. 9 AM Dallas Freestyle is my shit! I heard Boi1da play the beat in studio and I made Drake ask him for it.
