24: How did you get hooked up with Pollow
Da Don and eventually signing to Zone 4?

Rich Boy: I got hooked up with Pollow Da Don
through a friend of mine name Nick@Nite in Mobile, Alabama he was a DJ at the
local radio station. At that time a had a song out that was starting a nice buzz
and Nick@Nite handed my CD to Pollow and we kept in touch from there on in.

24: A lot of people don’t know that
you also produce, how long have you been producing?

Rich Boy: Probably like 5 years or so I was
producing before I was rapping.

24: How hard was it for you living in
Alabama and trying to get into the music industry?

Rich Boy: We’ll it really wasn’t
hard because of the team I had, plus Pollow and I was always on some different
stuff compared to everyone else you know that’s the way our team was built.

24: Describe the Hip Hop scene in Alabama?
Rich Boy: Every hood has there own hot rapper
and there own different style I would compare it to New Orleans.

24: Your first single off the album is
“Throw Some D’s” are you happy with the response you have
been getting from it?

Rich Boy: Yeah, I’m real happy with the
response I’ve been getting from it and it makes me push that much harder
to give the people an even better second single.

24: What producers did you work with on
your project?

Rich Boy: I worked with my boy Pollow Da Don,
Brain Kid, Needlez, Timbaland, J.R. Rotem Akon, and David Banner I wanted this
album to be well rounded.

24: As a new artist what do you feel you
bring to the game?

Rich Boy: I feel like every now and then you
get a new cat that comes with a new style, sound especially compared to everyone
one else that’s me.

24: Who are some of your musical influences?
Rich Boy: UGK, Eightball & MJG, Jay-Z,
and Ice Cube.

24: Do you feel pressure being basically
the face of Alabama and putting your state on the map?

Rich Boy: I do feel pressure, I feel a lot
of pressure but I think I work better under pressure for some reason.

24: Has there ever been a situation where
Pollow Da Don made a beat for another artist and you wanted to keep it?

Rich Boy: Nah, because he bring all the beats
to me first I get them first hand.

24: Describe your style?
Rich Boy: It’s kind of hard for me to
do that because I switch up my style so much you know I adapt to the beat, a
lot of rappers rap the same over every beat I switch up accordingly.

24: What’s next for Rich Boy?
Rich Boy: I got a song on the soundtrack for
the new Rocky movie, plus the remix to “Throw Some D’s” featuring
Jim Jones, Andre 3000, and The Game. The people also need to check out my myspace
