24: How has everything been going for the ‘Baddest Bitch’ in the game?

Trina: I’m great! I’m extremely happy. I’m blessed life is so beautiful.

24: Last year you hit #1 Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Album Charts with ‘Still tha Baddest’ and had features from the likes of Missy Elliot and Keyshia Cole, what have you learned from that experience?

Trina: They’re both two amazing and talented women it’s a blessing to have worked with them both.

24: We’ve been told that your performances have been taken to a whole new level and that your shows are a ‘must see’ event, what changes have you made?


Trina: It’s just me, my shows are sexy and fun and full of energy! I just love to entertain my fans.

24: Your new album is entitled ‘Amazin,’ what can fans expect on this album? Are there any featured artists that you can tell us about?

Trina: It’s going to be ‘Amazin!’ I feel I went out my of comfort zone and challenged myself more I’m proud of myself and of course I have some surprises for y’all.

24: As many people know you’ve been dating NBA star Kenyon Martin and we hear you are engaged, is that true? If so, when is the wedding?

Trina: I’m not engaged! (laughs)



24: The classy and sophisticated ‘Bleu Magazine’ did a photo shoot with you for their Memorial Day weekend issue, can you tell us about that?

Trina: It was amazing! I had so much fun on the shoot. I love those guys I tried some fun looks, black lips, short hair, and fabulous clothes.

24: You recently did a photo shoot with Louis Vuitton, how did that come about and where can we check out the photos?

Trina:Those are press photos for my new album ‘Amazin’ and all the clothing ensembles belong to me personally. 

24: Outside of working on your own music, you have a group called ‘Pretty Money’, what are your plans for them?

Trina: Working with the girls has been a lot of fun! I want to introduce them as the new era of ‘Sexy & Funky’ Hip-Hop/ R&B street meets chic!

24: Over the years we have watched you grow as an artist and you always stay relevant to the game. Is there any advice you would give other artists on how to build an empire as you have?

Trina: It’s all about branding! Focus on the brand and always stay grounded with a team of positive working individuals.

24: As a veteran in this game, how do you feel about the new generation of rappers, and who do you like?

Trina: The new generation is amazing, they need to join forces and become a strong unit.
