Rihanna Takes Career And Public Acceptance Over Love?

Poor Rihanna can’t seem to escape the talk of negative media these days and we think she’s finally getting tired of it. With all her problems with boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna’s image has been slammed. The ongoing saga of her questionable relationship with Brown has caused much distress on both of the artists. Rihanna fans all over the world have been angry and disappointed with the singer’s decision to stay with Chris after the whole assault incident. People close to her are very worried that the singer’s career may be in jeopardy.

According to sources, Rihanna was spotted at Manhattan’s Da Silvano celebrating with a group of friends. The buzz is that earlier that day while in New York, Rihanna sat in a meeting where she received news that she would be gracing the cover of a major magazine. Of course this means huge exposure and mucho dinero for the singer. But, the meeting was not all peaches and cream for Rihanna. Industry advisers at the meeting couldn’t be more adamant that her image in the public eye is most important. The negative press she has been receiving because of her relationship issues, if kept up, could be very devastating to her future career with the ‘unrevealed’ magazine.

A source said that “even people close to Rihanna have drilled it into her head that if she stays with Chris, her career will be over.” Rihanna seems to be listening to her advisers for the duo has not been seen in public in awhile. Though it has not yet been confirmed that the “Take a Bow” singer has left Chris and their relationship is over for good or not, its likely it would be the best move for the S.O.S singer to make. By the way, Chris Brown is to be seen in court next week for making criminal threats and felony assault chargers. What a Romeo!

Is 50 Cent Jealous That Eminem Is Releasing Album First?

The world has been anticipating LP releases of both top artists Eminem and 50 Cent since 2008. Both rappers have numerously changed release dates for their albums due to ‘tweaking’ adjustments and timing conflicts. Finally, Eminem announces and confirms album “Relapse” release date for May 17th. An unnamed single will precede the LP, which will be airing on April the 7th. Eminem also announces that he has been working on the follow up to “Relapse” and that, that LP should be released later in 2009. 50 Cent has been busy working on his new album “ Before I Self Destruct” and like Eminem, has also had to push back his LP’s release date. Eminem and 50 Cent are both under the same record labels and are both working with the infamous Dr. Dre on their albums.

However, not both artists are getting the equal attention of the mixing master. Dr. Dre has been putting all his attention into mixing Eminem’s album, which has left 50 Cent’s LP unfinished. “Right now I’m on the train and the Em choo-choo car goes first,” 50 Cent told The Associated Press in a recent interview. “I said my goal was to fit in with Eminem and Dr. Dre” the rapper explains, “I didn’t mean to fit in under Eminem and Dr. Dre.” Hmmm, is fifty sounding a little jealous?

In a interview with Howard Stern on Feb 25th 50 Cent was quoted saying “ ‘Crack A Bottle’….that song actually was recorded for my album and it may make it to Em’s record because his albums coming out first.” The download of ‘Crack a Bottle’ did get released under Eminem’s name and was so popular that it immediately hit the Billboard 100 charts. This could be considered kind of a slap to 50 Cent since it was meant to be his song. When asked about his release date for his LP, the artists responded, “Em will be completed entirely before we get a chance to finish up the pieces me and Dre did together.” Poor Fifty!
