The Heat Doesn’t Want Shaq?

The Miami Heat is killing it right now. With the whole world watching and a championship ring expected this season, it looks like nothing could stop their reign. While James and Bosh were of course welcomed with open arms to the team it is coming out that another NBA legend let it be known he wants to join the team as well…but was rejected.

Yep, none other than Officer Shaq was told by the Heat that they want nothing to do with him on the team. I’m told Shaq hit up none other than Heat head coach Pat Riley and expressed his desire to join this team but was let down by the answer. My source on this couldn’t tell me the exact reason as to why they would not want such a dominant player on this dream team but speculated it would just create more rivalry and problems than score points.

Sorry Shaq, you take an L on this one. Now go ride around in a cop car and play Sheriff.

Bloggers Force Drake Offline!

Ah the evils of the blogosphere! Despite gaining popularity on the internet, Drake has confessed in a recent interview that he doesn’t even go online anymore due to the rampant hate left by bloggers and commenters.

“I definitely haven’t said this before, but I stopped going on a computer,” he explained in an interview. “I have a problem where if I go read a hundred positive things about me and there’s one guy in there who says ‘I hate Drake’ that’s the one I pay attention to. I think that’s a common problem. Negativity hurts us more than positivity helps us. I asked about 10 or 20 people around me, ‘When’s the last time you went on a website and commented on something, like a song dropped and you went on and said, ‘That song is hot’ or ‘That song is terrible?’ And everyone I asked around me, whose opinions I respect, the people I love, were like, ‘I’ve never done that before.’ And these are all level-headed, intelligent people whose opinion I respect, so I just started saying to myself, ‘It takes a certain type of individual to really participate in a group discussion about someone else, especially if they’re going super hard with consistent hate.” (Paper Mag)

Hey this is the way it goes guy. First they build you up, then they knock you down…
