24: As one of the hottest DJ’s in Miami, always on the grind, how d you keep that drive to work harder than everybody else?
You have to always constantly keep in mind that the next person is trying to do something bigger then what your doing now. Every day I wake up and the first thing on my mind is “what  can I do that’s gonna be 10 steps ahead of what these other guys are trying to do right now?”

24: What is an average day like for DJ Entice?
Usually get out of bed around 10am, eat some breakfast, check the news real quick, shower, I might spend a few minutes playing some “Call of Duty” because I’m a COD fan. If I can get some time in, make some phone calls and get ready for radio. Then I take that long ride through traffic and make that 30 mile drive to the radio station, hang out for a little bit before the mix, do my thing for the “drive at five traffic jam”. I might run over by the studio and Strong Arm and see what’s poppin’. Head to the crib and eat dinner, then back to the club or studio and work all night. I usually get home at 6am and if I can, I’ll hop on some COD till I crash out and do it again the next day.

24: How has your affiliation with Poe Boy and Strong Arm benefitted your career?
Honestly, I couldn’t tell you that I thought it would be the way it was until I came and actually joined the family. It’s great! It’s a lot of fun being able to go on the road with Flo Rida because you know he goes everywhere. So it’s a real good experience to go on the road with him and see what we do at shows. It’s nice to see the family orientation with everyone that’s here. With everyone that’s here, Poe Boy, Strong Arm, you can see that everyone treats each other like family and no one’s out to step over the next man. That’s honestly the first time I’ve seen that within a group of independent people so that right there as the biggest relief ever. It’s great to be a part of a good team: Poe Boy/Strong Arm/I.M.G. – That’s the team right now.

24: What are some songs that are out right now that you feel people need to pay attention to?
Definitely the new Flo Rida “Club Can’t Handle Me”. That’s a big record. It’s blowing up already and it’s doing very well. I know Brianna got some things coming that she’s going to hit the streets with. She’s got some bangers. I’m a Jay-Z fan so he has some big records out right now too.

24: Since the earthquake in January, how have you been able to help with the relief in Haiti?
Personally, I work at Club Dream on South Beach every Saturday so what I did for two weeks straight was I would announce for people to bring predominately just sealed bottles of rubbing alcohol because that was a real problem out there. They were cutting people out there with rusty blades so that was my first idea. Also, along with my family, we must’ve dropped off at least two pallets of water bottles to one of Wyclef’s drop zones for Yéle. I know Flo Rida personally did a big thing with our radio station. I have a lot of personal friends that might’ve lost somebody or still don’t know if they lost somebody out there so it hits close to home even though I’m not personally Haitian.

24: What’s next for DJ Entice?
The best way to answer that question is “what’s not next for DJ Entice?”. I look at it as, I know what God gave me and I know what the people around me are helping me do and I’m one of those true believers that if there’s something you want, you get it as long as you really want it so when you say what’s next, I guess everything is next. I’m out to be the best at everything. Stay tuned because everything is next (laughs).

24: How would the fans go about contacting you?
You can listen to me on 99 Jamz which is 99.1 in Miami, Monday through Friday on “drive at five traffic jam” at 5pm. Saturdays 10pm – Midnight. You can hit me up on www.WEDR.com or you can check me on twitter at www.twitter.com/DJEntice. Being on twitter, I’ve gotten a lot of fans that hit me up while I’m doing my thing on radio. I appreciate y’all.

24: Thank you for providing 24hourhiphop.com with this exclusive interview, do you have any last words for your present and future fans?
I definitely appreciate everybody that shows me love. That’s what motivates me every day to get on the radio and get on at 5pm. If you’re not a fan yet, tune in, I promise you definitely be a fan afterwards. I love y’all. I respect everybody that respects me and even if you don’t respect me, I respect you for keeping it real.
