24hourhiphop.com sits down with recording artist FAME as he gives us a look into what he has going on, new music, his views on the current state of hip hop. FAME also tells us about what he has coming up for 2014. Check out what he had to say below and let us know what you think!

24HHH: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are?

FAME: My name is FAME I was born in Montgomery AL but raised in Anniston AL

24HHH: Before we get into your music, can you describe your history about how you got into and what inspired you?

FAME: Well like quite a few young black males I grew up without a father figure in my life. I had to learn to take care of myself and protect my mom. My life inspired me to start writing to get my feelings out

24HHH: What was the hip hop scene like for you growing up where your from?

FAME: I didn’t see a heavy influence around my city but my state has been representing for a while groups like the Dirty Boys and 8 ball MJG were playing in my headphones

24HHH: What makes you Unique as a artist and different from other rappers out now?

FAME: One thing I am not afraid of being honest and I have always tried to ensure message in my songs cause you to think about real life. When I create a song it has to have a real life element something you could believe if not have experience yourself.

24HHH: Tell us more about what you are working on?

FAME: Gold Rush Mixtape Series 1 & 2″ out now online. We also are set to release my biggest project to date “Hooligan Muzik”, which is highly anticipated.

24HHH: What producers have you worked with and who would you like to work with in the future?

FAME: I have worked with quite a few producer because I like different sounds but some big names like Don P and Karlton Bankz but I really like our sounds from the in-house production team which are dope

24HHH: Are you happy with the feedback you have been getting from people on material you have released?

FAME: Wow the feedback has been sort of surprising because I didn’t think things would pick up so fast. Our Hooligan movement is taking on its own life.

24HHH: In todays free download age, what do you need to do to make your self a household name?

FAME: First you can’t be afraid to put yourself out there and let people hear your music

24HHH: How do you feel about the current state of the hiphop scene?

FAME: I feel like it’s ready for me and that mean going back to bars

FAME: I am currently working at being a father and creating situations where I can help those that need a push

24HHH: Where do you see yourself going in 2014 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artist out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?

FAME: I feel I have already separated by being myself because everyone else is acting
