24: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are.

Joe Ness: I’m Joe Ness, ‘They call me The Pilot’ from Brooklyn, NY and I’m a rap artist.

24: Before we get into your music, can you describe your history about 
how you got into and what inspired you?

Joe Ness: I’ve be rapping since the age of 12, what inspired me was reading and writing poetry in English class, like it pretty much open the box to putting words in groups.

24: What was the Hip-Hop scene like for you growing up where you’re from?

Joe Ness: Being from NY you learn early that Hip-Hop was born here. You better be saying something if you from NY and you call yourself a rapper.

24: What makes you Unique as a artist and different from other rappers
 out now?

Joe Ness: What makes me Unique is my versatility, I’m not afraid to step out of my comfort zone on the mic. If I feel like it will make the difference between me and you I’ll get it done.

24: Tell us about what you are working on.

Joe Ness: I’m working on ALOT! You have to stay tuned in for. I got a mixtape coming called “Flight Class” no date set yet! But look out for that.

24: What producers have you worked with and who would you like to work
 with in the future?

Joe Ness: I’ve worked with a few producers, J. Cardim who also produced the beat for my current single “The Pilot,” I’ve worked with D. King, also King York, just to name a few. I haven’t put too much focus on producers that’s out right now, I got a strong team! Dodger what up! But there’s always room for collaborations.

24: Are you happy with the feedback you have been getting from people 
on material you have released?

Joe Ness: Yes, I’ve always been happy with my feedback, whether negative or positive, I take criticism well. I love my fans, so far they keep me focused

24: In today’s free download age, what do you need to do to make yourself a household name?

Joe Ness: I would say that you should no matter what, make sure you give your fans what they want because no matter what happens your fan base will be everything. They will always support you!

24: How do you feel about the current state of the Hip-Hop scene?

Joe Ness: I have no problem with where Hip-Hop is right now for the simple fact that it’s people expressing themselves. Hip-Hop will continue to change because people continue to change.

24: Outside of the music, what else are you currently working on?

Joe Ness: Honestly, I never been outside of the music. This right here is home.

24: Where do you see yourself going in 2012 and how do you plan to separate yourself
 from the other artists out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?

Joe Ness: I see myself succeeding, I see myself getting where I wanna be, don’t get me wrong I’m not here to take anyone’s spot, but MINE! I’m gonna continue to be me, if they like me now they’ll love me later.
