24HHH: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are?

M^2: For those of you who don't know who we are we go by M^2(M up 2) consisting of Mike Abz and Guy Mike. We are a rap duo representing south jersey. M^2 consist of a lot of fire power and lyrical content, we are some of the better known rappers coming from our are and looking to take that to a whole new level.

24HHH: How did you come up with your Producer/Artist name? Tell us about it.

M^2: At first it was thrown up in the are to go by Double Trouble but we decided that M^2 was in fact a lot better and its a name that was never heard of before. Since Both of our names are Mike that's where the M comes in and the fact that there's two of us that's where the 2 comes into play. We want this to be a name that everyone remembers and respects.

24HHH: Who were you raised by? Tell us your family situation. Got any  brothers, sisters, or any siblings? Tell us about your childhood, and how it impacted your music?

M^2: On both sides we were both raised by our mothers and step- fathers since birth, so our step-fathers were pretty much looked at as father figures.

Guy Mike- i have one stepbrother and two half brothers that I grew up with between my mom and step dad. On my dad’s side I only have one half sister. My stepbrother and I are pretty close in age growing up he was more athletic than me and studied art. There was a point in time that I was even a bit jealous cause I had nothing in particular that I excelled in. It wasn’t until about the second grade where we had to write poetry that I had found something that I was actually all right at. Around that time I wasn’t too big into music but I was aware that I could put words together better than most of my peers. Some years had gone by and I met a good friend of mine named Justin he had always been into music and was more talented than me. One day he was showing me a verse that he had written. I had one at the time as well and showed him mine. We said should start a group and that’s how things kicked off.

Mike Abz–  I have one sister and 3 brothers that i live with on my mom's side. And i have 2 brothers that live in New York on my fathers side.In my childhood i was always around music, mainly reggae because i am of Caribbean decent. So music was always a part of me but as i grew up i started getting into hip hop listening to LL Cool J, BiggyNas and other big hip hop artist. But it wasn't until high school and met Guy Mike i really started to get into music and taking it more serious.

24HHH: What age did you start making music?

M^2:  Guy Mike-I was 13 the first time I recorded but then I took a long break it wasn’t until I was 19 that I decided to start making more music.

Mike Abz– I always use to write down raps when i was around the ages of 14 and 15. But didn't start actually making music until i was about 17.

24HHH: What inspired you to pursue making music?

M^2: Guy Mike: I still feel as if I have a lot to improve on before I can say I’m fully pursuing music. As far I’m concerned all I’m doing is writing and recording every now and then. For me to say I pursuing it I feel that I have to be more involved as far as promoting and producing my own music. At this point in time it’s more of just a hobby for me. Once I get the acknowledgement of anyone in the business that is credible, that’ll only push me to work harder.

Mike Abz: What inspires me is seeing people arguing and debating about who the best is in the rap game or who is the most respected, iv'e always told myself that one day i'm going to be in that topic of conversation and that's why i'm always on top of my game and striving for better. I'm filled with ambition and I've always been that way no matter what i'm perusing.

24HHH: What artists/producers do you work with? Or rubbed shoulders with?

M^2: We've worked with a couple of local artist but no one major. Our biggest local producer/rapper that we've made the most magic with would have to be Jae Life. Also worked with producer @NawazBeats Which produced our single "I Could Careless".

M^2: We'll we've recently just dropped a mixed tape the 13th of March that people are complimenting and giving us a lot of respect for. After the mixtape we've just been making solo tracks, building up for something exciting.

24HHH: Tell us about your newest single "I Could Careless", how did you come up with that, share us the story?

M^2: Our Newest and most exciting single is I Could Careless. It's a song with a hook that everyone can relate to. We've had people hate on us over the little success and publicity that we have been getting so we made that song with them in mind and people got a nice feel for it.

24HHH: Any new travel plans, what you got going on?

M^2: We currently have none but we're hoping to come across an opportunity that will set us up for bigger and better things.

24HHH: Where can people find you?

M^2: on twitter @MikeAbz_ and @ProEverything

24HHH: Where do you see yourself going in 2014 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artist out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?

M^2: We'd like to be noticed as some of the better know artist entering the game this year. Only way to seperate ourselves from artist out today is to out work all of them. We will better ourselves which will allow us to become better as a group. Once we grow together and find that connection that we truly need, we will be a very well respected duo.

24HHH: Any last words or shout outs?

M^2:  We just want to shout out all our listeners and thank them for their support. As well as my friends for the encouragement.
