24HHH: How did you come up with your Producer/Artist name? Tell us about it.
Makem Pay: I was locked up and said to myself when I come home I'm not doing nothing for free so here I am Makem Pay
24HHH: Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?
Makem Pay: I'm from New Britain CT &Worcester,Mass it was cool in CT real street & in Worcester it was hell of gangs so both places were real serious I was raised around death.
24HHH: Who were you raised by? Tell us your family situation. Got any brothers, sisters, or any siblings? Tell us about your childhood, and how it impacted your music?
Makem Pay: I was raised by my grandmother Thelma Santiagomay Allah be pleased with her she passed 4'12'08 that's why my new mixtape Bulletproof Love 2 drops 4'12'14 hosted by Doowop she raised me my older brother Twyce & my little sister Ebonee. My brother Twyce use to make me sit down and listen to everything he did he taught me how to rap he's the best hands down you can go on my mixtapes and download his 211 it's crazy.
24HHH: What age did you start making music?
Makem Pay: I started recording in 2000.
24HHH: What inspired you to pursue making music?
Makem Pay: I can't sell drugs forever and I want my kids to be proud of dad I love hip hop.
24HHH: What artists/producers do you work with? Or rubbed shoulders with?
Makem Pay: Well onyx put me in the game shout out Fredro Starr & Stickyfingaz & Steven Seville. I'm currently working on album with Sean Price also have a album coming out with (Billy Danze) of (M.O.P) as far as producer's my partner (Dj.cutz) the best also(Snowgoons)(Deemetto)(Dj.c
24HHH: What else you got coming out? New Album? or Mixtape/EP?
Makem Pay: I have mixtape with Doowop dropping 4'12'14 me and my partner C.rose508 currently have a mixtape out now called Hard work then my album Facts of Life. Sometime this summer plus until then I'm dropping a mixtape every month with Doowop

24HHH: Tell us about your newest single "Smack", how did you come up with that, share us the story?
Makem Pay: The newest single is called "Smack" a.k.a (Put Em On A Shirt) basically is dedicated to all the whack rappers who are getting paid off a real n#@$a story.
24HHH: Any new travel plans, what you got going on?
Makem Pay: I'm going wherever they book me
24HHH: What is the biggest thing to happen in your career?
Makem Pay: The biggest thing to happen in my career is when I went to the def jam 25th year anniversary in"09 with onyx I meant Scarface n we actually talked for a few minutes I stopped him in mid convo and said I love you "pause" he is the greatest dead or alive to me it was real cool

Makem Pay: The music is gonna speak for its self streets is back in I'm here now my story is real anything I talk about isn't something I saw it's something I went through 1st hand I call it true music by the way you could check me out as Coleman Greene in the movie called A Sea of Green directed by Myster DL
