Mike Beck is no new comer to the game from his days running with Fat Joe to his present KAR days Mike Beck has proved he is no one hit wonder, nor a follower but a leader. Mike Beck is the first artist from KAR coming out on Koch Records, his street credibility has never been questioned and his leadership is has never gone unnoticed. 24: First off let me congratulate you on the success of KAR. The movement has been felt and people are really noticing that KAR is a force to be reckoned with.

Thanks really appreciate it and I wanna thank the websites, blogs, dj’s, radio stations,and especially all the fans out there.
 
 
24: So Beck Introduce yourself to the people out there that might not be familiar with you and KAR.
 

MB: I’m Mike Beck born and raised in Brooklyn. In the early 2000’s Pistol Pete and myself started K.A.R the music company consisting of Leader, Onez, and Rob Cash. Brooklyn, Harlem, and The Bronx joined as one to form the K.A.R movement on honor, loyalty,and respect.
 
 
24: So what’s up with the Mike Beck project, what’s the album looking like?

 
MB: Joey Crack & Pistol Pete Presents K.A.R Compilation album dropping this April thru indie music label E-1 Music Group (Koch) with guest appearances by Sean Kingston, Jadakiss, Raekwon, Cam’Ron, Cool & Dre, and more. As far as the Mike Beck solo project that will be a follow-up to the K.A.R Compilation album.
 
 
24: What can the people expect from your project? Any featured guests on there?
 

MB: My project will consist of different aspects in music not too many features only a few to name like Busta Rhymes, J-Mizzle, N.O.R.E, Maino, Prinz (Blackhand), and a few other special guests we’re working on.
 
 
24: KAR has also found its place in Miami the KAR South movement has also begun, can you tell me a little about that?
 
 
MB: K.A.R South movement begun when Rich Playa (VP of K.A.R) and Pistol Pete (Ceo) recognized  new talented artists, dj’s, and producers in the down south region. Shoutouts to 12-19. Level what it do.

Your video for ‘Dangerous Life’ is in the works how’s that going?
 

MB: Dangerous Life video directed by: Jordan Tower its completed we’ve shoot a lot of scenes with J-Mizzle & myself  all throughout Miami. Were just waiting for the right time to release it… shouts to Jordan Towers!!!!!!  Thanks for everything bra!!

 24: How did you and Jordan Towers link up and start working on videos together?
 

MB:
Well actually I was mad at Worldstarhiphop.com and he was shooting a video for Ace Hood in Miami so I popped up to holla at him about the bullshit they be on…shout out to Onsmash.com. To find out he has nothing to do wit the bullshit so we linked up on some real nigga shit. I really appreciate the love that he’s given me… 
 

24: Tell me a bit about your newly signed producer/artist Mizzle whom you signed to your company Heavy Bank Entertainment?
 

MB:
Mizzle is the Greatest ever, he’s not an artist on Heavybank, he’s my partner!!!! Boss!!!!!
 

24: What’s your current single you trying to push out at the moment?
 

MB:
‘Ohh Baby’, off of that K.A.R album coming out in April 09. My album is on hold til we get that popping first so all our energy’s going into the compilation album.

 24: What are Mike Beck’s plans for the future?    
 

MB: Heavybank Ent., J-Mizzle We want to be the new faces of MUSIC INDUSTRY for the next few years to come!!!! 
 

24: If you had to say two words to describe Mike Beck what would you say?
 

MB: Consistent Grinder 110%
 
 
24: How do you feel about the new artists that are coming out of Brooklyn? 
 

MB: I love it Maino is my Brother and he makes good songs that give feelings like Pac did, Papoose is a lyrical Beast, Loso got that swag, Café spitting that shit, Uncle Murda got that Gritty Bk style Biggie would’ve loved. Bk I support all the artist coming up outta Bk, Nefu the don, Rock brothers, I could go on for days. As long as people are working to better their lives I’ll be down wit them.
 
 
24: How did the new record with Max B and P. Doe happen?
 

MB: I met Max B in Houston and the vibe was official so we worked on a joint wit Ron Artest. The joint wit Pedo was a freestyle me and Pedo put together for the love of the game
