24: Introduce yourself to everyone and let them know where your representing?

Nycole Kave: Whats up 24HourHiphop.com, I am Nycole Kave (pronounced cave).  I’m a Pop recording artist and a professional Hip Hop dancer.

24: What do you feel your bringing to the music world?

Nycole Kave: I’m bringing raw talent and fun.  There’s nothing polished about me.  I write whatever I feel and I have a good time doing it.  My music is very world pop but if you listen to my lyrics you’ll see I write with a very unique style.  I joke around a lot in my songs and sometimes even make fun of myself.  There’s a song I wrote called “Mack Girl” and it’s the complete opposite of what I am but I thought it would be fun to write a song as if I were a cool rapper with a lot of groupies.  The song has a lot more swag than I actually do in real life(lol). Don’t get me wrong I’ve got swag but I’m not macking anyone.

24: Who are some artist that you would say influence you musically?

Nycole Kave: Hmm, there are so many.  I grew up listening to a little bit of everything.  My ipod is always on shuffle and the artist range from Led Zeppelin to T.I. to Sade.  I’m probably most influenced today by Beyonce because she’s definitely made her mark on the game.  She writes, sings, acts and is vocally talented.  Anyone who can do it all and does it all well is definitely inspiring to me.

24: Tell about some the projects your currently working on?

Nycole Kave: Right now I’ve been writing like crazy.  Recording music for my own album and trying to get some placements for other artist.  I love writing if I didn’t love performing so much I would sit in the studio and just write all day. So I’m doing that right now and trying to jump on a dope tour for ’09.

24: Who are some of the producers you have been working with and who would you love to work with in the near future?

Nycole Kave: Right now I’ve been writing for a little bit of everyone.  I just got a beat the other day from Darkchild and all of his stuff is crazy.  But for my own project I’ve been trying to work with a lot of up and coming producers also.  My two favorite are Vick Patel and The Fisticuffs.  They are both dope and you should definitely look out for them in 2009.  Vick produced a few records for me and The Fisticuffs who I love love love produced “Robot, Love Machine”.  You can check that song out on my myspace page.  www.myspace.com/nycolekave.

24: Is you could choose any Major label or  Independent label which would you choose and why?

Nycole Kave: No preference.  Honestly what’s most important to me shopping in the 1st quarter is finding a label that completely understands my vision and will get down with me 100%.  I don’t want to be like anyone else I don’t want to be half dressed posing in a video and singing songs I can’t relate to.  I think the sexiest woman is one who doesn’t have to try to be sexy.  Everyone is born unique n I think artist should all stay that way.  If not we’ll all be listening to the same kind of song “Aaaaaaa”. No offense to anyone who does that(lol).

What should the readers look out for from you in the near future?

Nycole Kave: Look out for my music coming to a radio near you and look out for me coming to a stage near you in 2009.  I’ve been joining a whole bunch of sites lately as well so I hope to be all over everyones internet and computers soon.  Internet buzz is so important to labels these days so I’m trying to be in there like swim wear.
