24HHH: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are?

Quon: What’s up good people my name is Quon.

24HHH: How did you come up with your Producer/Artist name? Tell us about it.

Quon: Well I use to go by the name young Quon when I was signed to an indie label but once that was through, I dropped the “Young” and now it’s just Quon

24HHH: Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?

Quon: I was born in New Orleans but grew up in Arizona and Texas. Growing up in Arizona was different than most places I’ve been. I didn’t have the best childhood but it wasn’t that
bad for me because I had good upbringings; I just grew up around a lot of bad things. My senior yr. in high school I moved to west Texas and that’s another story by itself. Lol

24HHH: Who were you raised by? Tell us your family situation. Got any brothers, sisters, or any siblings? Tell us about your childhood, and how it impacted your music?

Quon:  I was raised by my mother and step father who are both now deceased) I do this for them. I have 2 brothers and one sister. We didn’t have everything growing up but we had each other and it made me who I am today.

24HHH: What age did you start making music?

Quon: I have been doing music seriously since high school but I was rapping in my early teens.

24HHH: What inspired you to pursue making music?

Quon: I came up in a household that played lots of music, mostly old school stuff before my time and I listened to a lot of music that was current at that time. I’m a 80s baby

24HHH:  What artists/producers do you work with? Or rubbed shoulders with?

Quon:  I work with one of the dopest, underrated producers in the game and he goes by the name Jigg. I have also worked with Brian G from the West Coast, Don Vito from Atlanta, and Mr. Lee from Houston

24HHH: What else you got coming out? New Album? or Mixtape/EP?

Check out Quon – Life As A G (Audio)

Quon:  I have a new EP that I just dropped titled “Life As A G” my first single from the EP is doing pretty good; its titled “Fans”.

24HHH: Tell us about your newest single “__Fans__”, how did you come up with that, share us the story?

Quon:  I came up with “Fans” because of how I was feeling at the time. I was dealing with beef in the streets, my house got shot up, and a year later I caught a case. I’m fighting that right now and all that is what inspired “Fans

24HHH: Any new travel plans, what you got going on?

Quon:  Trying to line up sum shows and trying to be everywhere there is to be.

24HHH: What is the biggest thing to happen in your career?

Quon: The biggest thing to happen lately is dropping this project and having my dude Jigg and the homie
Kidd Kidd from Gunit jump on it

24HHH: Where can people find you?

Quon: I can be found anywhere as long as I’m being searched for. I reside in west Texas though. My music
is all over iTunes and almost all other music sites

24HHH: Where do you see yourself going in 2014 and how do you plan to separate yourself from the other artist out today to get the recognition you feel you deserve?

Quon: I see 2014 being a good year for me and hopefully this will be the year I break. I separate myself from other artist because I have such a unique voice and I sound like no one else, u can never go wrong with originality.

24HHH: Any last words or shout outs?

Quon: I wanna shout out to my folk in Louisiana, Arizona and Texas. I wanna shout out to Jigg for the production and everybody who support and ride with me.
