24HHH: Introduce yourself to everyone that doesn’t already know who you are?

Tre-G: I put out 2 underground mix tapes from 2006 to 2008, but i wasn't as focused as i should've been. After a 3 1/2 year prison sentence, many of my fans doubted I would be able to recover in this vicious music industry. Since returning home, I (Tre-G)  have stood my ground as a musical artisan and have been considered to be New Orleans "Best Kept Secret". I've independently produced hit after hit, and created an undeniable street buzz in the southern region. I've given the fans such a variety of music, its difficult to place my talent in one category. Fans have gravitated to the diversity I've brought to the music scene & respected me as an incredible songwriter.

24HHH: How did you come up with your Producer/Artist name? Tell us about it.

Tre-G: Some people been calling me Tre-G since high school . My nickname was Tre, but I used to keep a few tickets (Money) in my pocket. One day my patna rashad was like "Imma call u Tre-G because u keep a G ($1,000) in yo pocket". Its funny to me when i think about it, bc i probably didn't even have a "G" then.

24HHH: Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?

Tre-G: Im all uptown New Orleans in the veins, but when I was 16 my momma moved on the west bank in an area known as the "Cut-Off". Thats where u could say I jumped off the porch ya feel me.

24HHH: Who were you raised by? Tell us your family situation. Got any brothers, sisters, or any siblings? Tell us about your childhood, and how it impacted your music?

Tre-G: As a child I was raised by my grandmother. Ive never meet my biological father a day in my life. My mother had left to go to the military, so I was uptown wt my grandmother. Once my momma came back from the army, I was back wt my mother, my sister & my two younger twin brothers. We never really had much until my step-father came home from the feds. we went from the flinstones to the jetsons in a matter of a year ya feel me. It only lasted about three years tho. He's currently doing Life in prison right now. I love that dude, he taught me alot.

24HHH: What age did you start making music?

Tre-G: I Started: I been knew how to rap. I discovered that talent at about 14. I was busy running the street tho, I started taking it serious when I was released from prison. So I guess you could say about 2 years now.

24HHH: What inspired you to pursue making music?

Tre-G: My inspiration came from being thru hell on earth. I been thru more than I can explain in an interview. I might write a book based on some of my trials if I get the opportunity.

24HHH: What else you got coming out? New Album? or Mixtape/EP?

Tre-G: My next album called "U Alive I'm Liv'n" its set to drop this summer.

24HHH: Tell us about your newest single "Going Bananas", how did you come up with that, share us the story?

Tre-G: On this album we decided to drop two singles. "Going Bananas" & "Time". "Going Bananas" was an undeniable hit. Its a definite club banger and the streets love it. "Time" is a song i wrote while on vacation in miami. Sometime us men get caught up in chasing money trying to provide for our woman & we forget the quality "Time" that is needed to keep that bond strong. its two totally different flavors. I told you earlier the fans love the versatility i bring to the table. Its just different.

24HHH: What is the biggest thing to happen in your career?

Tre-G: The biggest thing that has happened in my career is the Lives I've been able to touch thru my music. Some people use music as a source of relief from the stresses of life, & to know that a song i made helped you get thru that trial is big to me.

Tre-G: In 2014 i see myself going wherever God intends for me to go. I work hard. My music is different. Im always in competition with myself trying to outdo my last hit. I don't need to do anything thats not authentic to who I really am. My music will give me the respect. ya heard me!

24HHH: Any last words or shout outs?

Tre-G: I wanna thank God, My Family, My Team, The Fans & even the haters for keeping me priority in their lives & always giving me everything I expect of them. This BBE!!!
