Heading into Game 6 with everything one the line for both teams with the Mavericks able to win their very first NBA World Championship in franchise history and replacing that bitter taste into a sweet one after Dallas lost to the Heats back in 2006 after being up in the series 2-0. As well as Dallas leader Dirk Nowitzki able to answer all of his critics saying that he would never win a ring and that he plays to soft to be a leader that can lead his team to an NBA Championship. Not to mention the perfect ending to NBA All-Star and future Hall-Of-Fame first ballad Jason Kidd. Then on the other side of the coin you have a team that set out for one goal at the beginning of the year when all of the media bashed them for saying that they wanted to win almost 5 NBA Championships and felt like they over looked teams such as the Celtics, Lakers, etc. For Lebron James to be able to win a ring at this point of his career alongside teammates Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh with all of the talk that’s been going on all year about this team would be Amazing. Whether you root for the Heats or not they came together and they set a goal even if the celebration at times was a bit much. The Heats wen through an up and down season where they lost and they won but stuck together through it all and never fell apart translating into being the new Eastern Conference Champions with a chance to be in a Game 7 to win it all with a simple Game 6 victory.

But with all of that being said it was up to the players on the court to decide their faith and their place in NBA history as Game 6 took place down in Miaimi,FL on the Heats home court.  It was the  Dallas Mavericks who took an early lead in the first quarter, before the Heats came back and tied things up in the 2nd quarter to keep things close at the half(as Dirk continued to struggle from the field). In the 3rd quarter things remained close but with Lebron James and Dwayne Wade not having great games things seem to be in favor of the Mavericks even with Dirk not having his best game thus far. Lead by Jason Terry and great team play the Mavericks played strong. Then in 4th Quarter Dirk shooting touch showed up as the Heats careless turnovers started to pile up and in the end it was the Mavericks winning their first NBA Championship in franchise history with a 105-95 victory on the Heats home court.
