Despite Kevin Durant scoring 40 points and helping his team comeback and make things close along with Point Guard Westbrook chipping in with 20 points of his own it the Thunder lack of defense that was unable to stop nor slow down Dirk Nowitzki hot hand. Dirk went on to play an amazing Game 1 in a Dallas victory 121-112 with a game high 48 points and a perfect 24-24 from the free-throw line placing him with the record for the most consecutive free-throws made in the Playoffs without a miss. The Mavericks bench out played the Thunder with help from Jason Terry 24 points and J.J. Barea 21 points as Dallas cruise in Game 1. Game 2 will take place on Thursday at 9:00pm on ESPN. An later tonight on TNT the Heats will face the Bulls as the Heats look to even things up while the Bulls try to take came of Home-Court and take a 2-0 series lead back to Miami.
