24: So how has the Asylum Clothing line been doing since we last featured your line?

Asylum: Everything has been going pretty smooth so far.  We've gotten a lot of great feedback from fans from all over the nation as well as the world so we're feeling pretty good about it.  People from the other side of the world are diggin' our designs and it's a really unbelievable feeling.

24: What inspired you to begin a clothing line and why did you choose the name Asylum Clothing?

Asylum: The route that fashion has been going and the lack of creativity in the styles of clothes really inspired us to collect our ideas and try to change the fashion world.  We mixed our styles into one to create something new, something different that would appeal to everyone.

24: Who are the owners/creators of Asylum Clothing?

Asylum: Chad Cygan, Cody Oelker and Ken Nixon of Artistry Apparel.

24: What are the other branches of Asylum Clothing Brand?

Asylum: Artistry Apparel, Guerrilla Tactics and then, of course, our ladies lines.

24: Who creates the designs for the shirts?

Asylum: We all put our own creative spin on each design as we each have a different style we like.  Chad and Cody design for Asylum and Guerrilla Tactics and collaborate with Kenny to design the Artistry Apparel line.  We have a lot of really great shirt designs that are still being "tweaked" that will be coming soon also.

24: Are you sticking with shirts only or will you expand?

Asylum: We plan on expanding to every aspect of the fashion industry starting with swimwear like bikinis and board shorts then to denims and jeans, hoodies, hats, sunglasses... you name it.  That's our goal.  We're also supporting the music industry and local artists by designing custom shirts so if anybody needs custom work done by a professional design company then contact us at asylumclothing941@gmail.com and we'll work with you for a reasonable price.

24: How do you feel that Asylum Clothing stands out and is different from all the other clothing lines that are out now?

Asylum: We bring a new style of design to the game that separates us from the "cut and paste" world of fashion.  Asylum brings a new creativity that the fashion world, in our opinion, currently lacks.  We mix urban fashion with a rockstar style but we also bring in a vibe that appeals to skateboarders as well as musicians, artists and everyday people like us.

24: Where can people buy your product?

Asylum: At our online store at www.Asylum-Clothing.com and currently at Willow 506 Boutique in Sarasota, FL.  We're also working on many other popular local stores and possibly our own storefront.

24: Anything else you want to promote?

Asylum: We would like to help raise support for all Florida artists and bring the bottom of the map to the top.  The world runs on people like us and we would like to show that if you put your mind to it you can make your dreams come true. Never give up, don't talk about it, be about it.  We started this company with no money and an idea and thanks to all the support and friends along the way, we've made it this far.  Join the movement!
