BIG BUSINESS WITH ARTFUL DODGER
 Jay Z is all about big business. Jay has partnered with Iconix Brand Group to create their own company Scion LLC, after selling Rocawear to them for $204 million. Scion LLC or we can say Jay and family are on the prowl to find clothing lines that can be turned into lifestyle brands i.e. Baby Phat, spearheaded by mogul Kimora Lee Simmons. Recently Jay and the family purchased the high-end clothing line that exploded within the hip hop community during 2007, Artful Dodger for $15 million cash. Artful Dodger is named after a gentleman that let a group of mischievous boys to wreak havoc on locals. This clothing line houses some of the best quality embroidery and embellished denim, t-shirts and hoodies for men in the luxury urban fashion industry. With denims ranging in the high $200-300, Jay and fam are definitely going to see some major money come in w/ this line. Not only will Scion LLC. create a female Artful Dodger line, but have already teamed up w/ footwear and accessories outlets to make the line a lifestyle brand. Even though there are talks of Jay being released from his presidential spot at Def Jam he is expanding his hustle so much that as he states "even if I fall I'll land on a bunch of money"! Stay on the look out for the luxury brand of the Shawn Carter Collection and Elizabeth Arden to create fragrances and cosmetics for Rocawear due to be released in 08'.
