This week’s style advice is a little different from the norm. No shirts, jeans or sneakers to run out and cop. To tell the truth this weeks advice has nothing to do with clothing at all. We can put on the hottest outfit of all time and still not be at our full potential if the cut isn’t fresh or the hair is just not right. If you ever attend a celebrity photo shoot you will notice that someone, the hairstylist/ groomer, is paid hundreds to thousands of dollars to make sure the celebrity has top notch hair for their photo, that’s just how important hair is!!! Lately I have spotted an increasing number of men stepping out of the box and sporting artistic designs in their hair. Everyone from Kayne West to Young Joc have started using their haircuts as accessories. We haven’t seen anything like this since the “Kid & Play, House Party” days, at least ten to fifteen years ago but as they say fashion & history often repeat themselves. Now I do want my 24hourhiphop family to know this isn’t for everybody. If your not ready to be a showstopper DON”T try this, but if you think your ready to test your star power out, this ones for you! There are ranges of designs you can choose from. Barbers are becoming similar to tattoo artist, mimicking whatever design, logo or artwork you want cut into you hair. However, there are some old styles I don’t recommend, the 80’s high top fade, steps and gumby need to stay in the were they are, in the past. Now lets not take it too far!!!
