Jordan Brand Releases Air Jordan 2009
 The numerically named Air Jordans will draw to a close in 2008 with the XX3 shoe. Starting in 2009, the Air Jordan naming scheme follows a different route referencing the release year. A preview into the Air Jordan 2009 can be seen here. The shoe features all the elements of design you would come to associate with the Air Jordan, with numerous details and touches, effectively making it a bootleggers nightmare. Little performance information is known however a release date is set for Saturday, February 14th, 2009.
