2kSports is back once again this year with their installment
of the popular NBA video game series NBA2K8. All new this year is a feature
called 'BlackTop' where you can play in the Slam Dunk Contest, 3-Point Contest,
and Play in the Rookie Challenge.' It's a new and exciting feature that will
keep your attention as you challenge some of the best or even play as some of
the best including Julius Erving, Steve Nash, Wally Szerbiack and many others.
Other features in the game include playing in the Regular
Season to see how far you can take your team and if you can win the
championship, The Playoffs, where you can skip the regular season and just go
straight to the Championship or the Association where you are the boss and control
every aspect of the game from drafting your team, signing and trading players
and everything in between. All of these features in the game will keep you
occupied for hours.
The visuals in the game have improved this year as well. The
details in the characters and coaches complement the original humans very well.
Another feature is the off-the-ball control which lets you set up players for
ally oops and screens so you can control the player dropping dimes.
If you are a 2kSports fan, this is the game for you. The
game play will keep you locked in for hours trying to master the game and beat
all the teams in the NBA to win that Championship Trophy.
