Real Niggas Stand Up!
 This morning I jumped on the laptop and checked out thisis50.com something I do on the reg after I check out 24hourhiphop.com, and I came across David Banner's Interview, all I have to say is he’s a real ass nigga. I met DB before when one of my peoples interviewed him in Richmond after he came to talk to the kids in Richmond at the Y, he was cool he let us come on his tour bus to do the interview. He never came across as being a fake person; you can tell by the way he carried himself that he was just a real dude. After watching his interview this morning I said I had to write about it. The things that he was saying were straight up and on point and he didn’t bite his tongue at any point in the interview. He talked about how he hustled his way to success and not weight, but CD's. He also spoke about the state of hip hop and how bullshit it is right now. The Sean Bell verdict was something else he spoke about, and how niggas can kill, sell drugs, and bang on each other, but can’t bang on the people that are trying to take away our rights. All in all this interview was very enlightening for me I appreciate a dude like David Banner because he speaks his mind and he’s not just rambling he’s speaking real facts.
David Banner is one of the realest hip hop artists’ out and he calls out those fake artist that do nothing for their communities. If you do your homework on dude you will find out that he is one the artist that doesn’t just talk it but walks it as well. The hip hop community needs more artists like him because he’s a breath of fresh air a real nigga talking real shit and doing real things. He’s not talking about his street activity on wax and screaming out gangs and shit and trying to be harder than he is, he’s just being a real nigga on wax and real life unlike a lot of other rappers that are out right now. In the interview he brought up the Sean Bell verdict and he started talking about how niggas bang on wax but when it counts you hears nothing from these niggas, and I totally agree. These rapping niggas are hard ass fuck on DVD, or in an interview, or a track, but when it counts these niggas are nowhere to be seen. When that Sean Bell verdict dropped it should have been a few busloads of niggas ready to bang out or at least put they’re money where their mouth is and try to do something about this injustice. Yeah a few niggas did a few tributes or a song getting at the boyz; but other than that how many of those so called thugged out niggas or goons, have done anything? Niggas talk real tough on a camera or in a booth, but when it really counts these niggas don’t do shit because a lot of them are fucking cowards. For those of you that might be saying “so what are you doing C BiGGs?” I’m speaking out about it this is my third article on this situation since it happened; I’m doing what it is I feel I can do about it. I don’t have the platform a lot of these rapping niggas have and I’m definitely not one of those niggas that act like I get it poppin’ when shit goes down. I’m sticking to my script, but for those niggas screaming out fuck the police and fuck squally; where y’all at? Where the thugs at when this type of shit really goes down? Where the money at niggas? Y'all niggas go out here and spend money hand over fist for motherfuckers that care nothing about you and yours, but when it’s time to make it rain on a real cause niggas pocket books are locked up. DB also made a good point when he brought up Oprah
Winfrey. This bitch is a billionaire
with a major platform and has yet to do a show on policemen and their excessive
force. I don’t think this bitch has even
made mention of Sean Bell, I don’t think this bitch has ever done a show on how
the police treat her people, and she’s been on the air long enough where she’s
had multiple chances, but this bitch can do a show about how fucked up rap
music is. Yeah we already know what part
of the game this bitch is playing; I commend her for opening up an all girl
school in Africa, but excuse me if I’m wrong we need a lot of help over here in
our own country, in our own fucked up neighborhoods that re now being taken
away from us along with our rights. Like
I said before we need more niggas like DB, and there are a few others that try
to hold down their communities, but there are more of them that don’t do shit
for their community and it’s fucked up, because a big factor in them being
where they are at is because their community supported them. He also brought that crooked ass Al “So Slick” Sharpton and I also agree with him on that. That piece of shit in my eyes has done nothing for us as a people. All he’s done was take under the table money from these crooked ass politicians to make it seem like he was doing something when in actuality he was doing nothing. We have a lot of people with the platform to make a change, but the thing is motherfuckers reached a point where they and their families are straight and they really could give a fuck about anybody else outside their circle. They might say it’s sad, but they are also saying oh well it doesn’t really affect me, and that’s the sad thing nobody really gives a fuck until it hits home. Instead of trying to fix these problems before it hits home, they just overlook the shit like it doesn’t exist. We can support all these non minorities with our hard earned money to feel like we made it, but could care less about the kids or families missing a member due to the fact excessive and violent people that are suppose to be protecting us. For real we need to wake the fuck up and stop just saying well that’s them, because some of us use to be them a little while back. Real Niggas stand the fuck up and try to make a real difference out here, and if you’re not going to stand up sit the fuck down and stop feeding us the bullshit your trying to pass on. These are just my opinions, and for those fake ass rappers talking all that shit, if you not really trying to do shit to help your people, then shut the fuck up and sit the fuck down.
