Damn hip hop is killing me right now so many negative things going on and so much bullshit surrounding it.  First off, you have one of the most popular ringtone rappers feeling like he should even be mentioned with Hov.  You have to be fucking kidding me right now.  I know you have all heard about the comment, and I might be a day or so late, but I had to comment on this.  Now grant it Soulja Boy is the man right now he has one of the most downloaded songs in the country, and it looks like his follow up single is also doing well.  After saying that, how in the hell can he even part his lips to say he's better than Jay-Z, and he didn't just stop with Hov, he mentioned Lil Wayne as well.  He feels he should be number one on MTVs "Top 25 MCs."  Come on lil nigga, I know you getting your money, chicks are checking your Mic left and right, and you probably knocking down a few but you don't really the have the right to say this.

Soulja Boy better than Wayne? Nigga please, you can't be serious.  Your song is catchy, funny, and the kids love it, but my man please be serious with yourself, you're not touching Wayne.  When Wayne said he was better than Jay I said "hell no," when you say your better than Jay, I have to say "get the fuck out of here."  I don't care if you meant it this time, I don't care if you were basing this on your ringtone and album sales.  At no point in your career will you ever be hotter than Jay even on his weakest album, never, and I know they say never say never but lil man you will never be hotter than Jay.  I respect your hustle and your business, but that's where it stops, and I know you could care less.  You would probably consider me a Hater but not at all.  I commend you for all your hard work because your doing it, but it just some things you just shouldn't part your lips to say.  Get your money young man, but show a little respect. 

Back to Wayne; what are you thinking?  Wayne was arrested again in Yuma AZ on Tuesday for felony charges possessing dangerous drugs, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.   I know the rap police harass the artists, but dude you have to be smarter than this.  You already know they're watching you because of other charges that you have pending.  Then you should factor in that you are more popular with their kids than they are.  You're a young black man getting money with that I don't give a fuck about the police attitude; you already know that they're gunning for you.  If you feel you need your stash keep it in a separate car, and only carry what you need.  There is no reason for you or anybody on your bus to have almost a pound on their person.  You have enough money to be smarter than that.  Then you get caught with that whitegirl and those pills on you.  How high do you really need to be?  I know it's your life and I'm nobody but you have a daughter first and foremost, then you have these little dudes running around that want to be just like you.  Now you might not be a role model in your eyes, but in their eyes you are, and these kids look up to you.  The sad thing about it is you're a smart and very talented artist, but the decisions that you're making are not showing that.  If I'm not mistaken DEA made this arrest, so you know what it is.  A black man broke is a threat; so what do you think a black man with money is?  He's a target plain and simple.  We already know the type of society we're in and we know how the game is played.  The Notorious one said it the best "more money more problems". 

Once you're out there like that and making that big money, the smarter you have to be.  You have to be mindful of the people you keep around and the things that you do because this society is set up for black men to fail.   We have to be extra careful, if you need to carry and you're not a felon go get your burner registered and go get your conceal weapon permit.  If you are a felon make sure your security or the dudes around that are not felons have their shit registered.  If everyone around you is felon you need to think twice about the shit you do and think to yourself if it's smart for it to be that way.  Wayne keep your head hope all goes well with you.

It was reported that the Brooklyn bred rapper Uncle Murda was shot in the head last night in east New York.  The injury was said not be life threatening, and it was said that Murda was on Wendy Williams today and he said he was recovering with Hennessey and Newport's.  If it's not law enforcement it's our own people trying to take us down, it's sad.  I wish that man a speedy recovery and like I said we need to think twice about the things we do and the company we keep.  We also need to think twice about where we go, everybody screams out they hood and feel they are so hood, but sad to say the hood is a wicked place.  I love being from where I'm from but it doesn't mean I still want to live there.  Our society is set up in such a fucked up way we have to be aware of everything.  Pay attention and these are just my opinions.
