24: How does it feel to be finally dropping the album after the few set backs?
Bobby: It feels real good you know. I have been waiting for this album to come out for along time and I think the fans will love it.

24: How does the new album differ from your last album?
Bobby: I am co-executive producer on this album and I also worked with a lot of different producers that helped me express different sides of me and get a whole new sound.

24: A lot of artist like to play it safe and do not really change their music too much and keep doing what the fans loved from them on the first album but I feel like you went out and got together and worked with different producers and song writers and in my eyes it took you to another level, speak on your decision to do that a little bit?
Bobby: I just wanted to go some where I didn’t go on the last album so working with Rodney Jerkins, Sean Garrett, Bryan Michael Cox, Dre & Vidal and of course Tim & Bob really helped.

24: So far from what I heard, your whole album is good but if you had to choose 1 song that meant the most to you, which would it be?
Bobby: It would have to be my second single “Anonymous” featuring Timbaland. I think that is a very strong record and as soon as I recorded it in the studio I was so excited on how it came out I knew right then it had to be a single.

24: Did you feel any pressure when you were making your new album because of the success of your first album?
Bobby: Not really pressure because I just wanted to make an album that was hotter then the first album, so that was my motivation.

24: You went and worked with some of the best producers in the music industry hands down, but is their any producer you would love to work with that you have not yet?
Bobby: Yes, I have two producers I have not worked with that I would love to work with who is Pharrell Williams and R. Kelly. Other then that, I’m cool outside of some producers from back in the day.

24: What should the fans expect from your album when they put it in there CD player?
Bobby: They should expect to just put the album in and press play and not have to touch the skip button that was my goal on this album.

24: Who or what inspires Bobby Valentino musically?
Bobby: Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Prince, The Isley Brothers, Jodeci, Boyz II Men, BabyFace and Anita Baker to just name a few because the list can go on and on.

24: What would you say separates you from other male R&B artist that’s out?
Bobby: I would say get the album and you would be able to compare and contrast it for yourself and see what Bobby V brings to the table.

24: When you decide to retire years from now what do you want people to say Bobby Valentino brought to the music world?
Bobby: I want them to say that this guy really changed what R&B was doing at the time and 20 years from now I what inspiring artist to be inspired by my work.

24: Can the fans expect to see you on tour this summer?
Bobby: Right now, that’s in the works. I am trying to headline my own tour like a House Of Blues type of thing after the album comes out so keep posted to my myspace page (www.myspace.com/bobbyvalentino) and my website (www.justbobby.com) for more info.

24: What advice would you give to an up and coming singer trying to get into the music industry?
Bobby: Never give up because that same day you gave up could have been the same day you got signed. So stay focused and work hard.

24: What’s next in line for you?
Bobby: I have the Bobby V jeans for women coming soon, so ladies look out for that and I’m trying to get into some movies also and promoting this album that’s in stores May.8.

24: Anything you would like to promote or say to your fans reading this interview?
Bobby: May.8 the album is in stores. Thank you Jay Carter for this interview and taking your time to do this interview with me and ladies, the Bobby V jeans is going to be hot and fit perfect, shout outs to Right Hand Management and DTP.
